It's not a rule change, but particularly in League One, when the defender has the ball and the attacker is behind them, they go down under the slightest touch of contact and get a foul given. I'd love to see this stop happening.
No more than 6 passes of the ball to a team mate in your own half, after 6 passes the ball is turn over to the oppostion. England would be in trouble at the Euros.
When a player pulls an attacker down when through on goal it should be a penalty regardless of where the foul is committed.
How do we define “through on goal”?
That part isn't a new concept. I'm just swapping the red card for a penalty.
Sending-Off Offences
A player is sent off and shown the red card if he commits any of the following offences:
S5 denies an obvious goal-scoring opportunity to an opponent moving towards the player’s goal by an offence punishable by a free kick or a penalty kick
Offside rule should be “Daylight “ between the last man
I agree. Some of the VAR decisions about offside are decided by centimeters. The current offside rule is daft in any case. It should be that if you are offside you are offside, none of this inactive or not interfering with play nonsense. Was it Bill Shankley that said that if you are not interfering with play then what are you doing on the pitch? The current rule is unnecessarily complicated and delaying flagging can lead to injuries happening in the period between the offside offence and it being flagged.
Throw ins. I thought they tinkered with the rule abt the ball being released behind your head a while back, but just googled it and I think I'm wrong? Either way the amount of balls that are just hurled onto the pitch these days without punishment is ridiculous. Id scrap it and say you can chuck it on however you want to. Players pretty much do anyway. Then you could get your keeper to start taking throws from just inside the opposite half. Launching missiles into the 6yrd box. Wenger's head might explode in anger, but we can't all play like Man City tbf.

I am old enough to remember Tony Burns, our reserve goalkeeper, being able to throw the ball further than some keepers could kick it. Imagine the mayhem he could have caused with that rule!

Totally agree with this.
Me too, its been the source of amusement to my friends how irate this can get me. By both sets of players too. The biggest reason it pisses me off stems from when I was still among 11 a side and people would replicate the professionals and how they throw and invariably concede a foul throw. There have been some shockers at the Euros this year as well. Granted it isn't as bad as the wrestling that goes on before corners but its one of those things that kids especially pick up on and will, without fail replicate it on a Sunday.
I'd happily replace throw ins with kick ins that can't go over head height, would speed the game up too
I'd like to see an extra line on the pitch between the centre line and the penalty area. If you're not beyond that line when the ball is kicked forward then you can't be offside - only if you are beyond that line. Should increase the number of goals scored.

Didn't they used to have that on a Subbuteo pitch?

And long ball football.
Long ball football more exciting than all this tippy-tappy passing it around at the back crap that is the modern game.
Goalkeepers to always wear hats, deliberate removal of hat = penalty (chinstraps advised)
In international football I think the caps were worn during the match. Maybe only players who actually do this should receive one, otherwise they just get a key ring or car sticker.
I’d scrap the offside rule altogether. Yes, it might encourage goalhanging at first but clubs would soon adapt just as they did when they stopped goalkeepers picking up passbacks which critics and a few pundits said would never work. They used to have off side in hockey but no more and the game is better for it.
Anyone going down and grabbing the ball BEFORE the ref blows his whistle should be booked and the free kick go the other way and if it wasn’t even a foul it should be a yellow for a dive and a yellow for the handball

Yep, I am completely on board with losing offsides

That would be mental, I get the appeal but would turn the game upside down
I like the idea of daylight between the forward and defender, I detest the lines and toenails or shoulders disallowing goals
Add extra time at the end of each half that exactly matches the time taken for stoppages during the half.
I think they experimented with the idea a while back but referees insisted on adding what they thought was "about right". (Usually about twenty seconds for every stoppage no matter how long it actually took). Or just making something up if they couldn't remember!
A clock so that when the game is stopped for feigning injuries, timewasting etc (aka Orient) and us at times that everyone can see. Last week against Orient, they time wasted for 25 minutes in second half and only 8 minutes were added on (including for subs).
I hate all the phaffing around getting the ball to the very edge of the quadrant at corners, for absolutely no purpose. Have the ball entirely within the quadrant and be done with it.
