Today is a new low for me and very worrying. We dominated the game but couldn't put it away and I could see this coming as the 2nd half went on. I blame Slade today for bad substitutions when needed.
That's the sort of result that we can continue to expect under this regime. Get used to it or boycott. Sorry CARD but you can stick the "Support the team, not the regime" mantra. IMO they are one and the same.
I went today....to assist colleagues on the CAS Trust stall. I had £20 on me, with which I could have purchased a ticket, but Duchatelet saw not a penny of that, because I went home for a nice cup of tea. And I'm very glad I did.
“The announcement of these initiatives are a great start but actions speak louder than words. We’ve changed our strategy on the pitch and that has been demonstrated in our recruitment and now we need to do the same with how we engage with fans."
So... how's this latest new era working out for you, Katrien?
Nothing against Konsa but I don't understand why Bauer isn't playing. Bauer was excellent in the Championship and we really missed him when he was injured. We have a player who is one of the best centre halves in the league, we can't stop conceding goals, and he can't get in the team. It's ridiculous.
Might be time for Ajose to be taken out of the line-up and reminded that he's here to score goals. He's scored in one game for Charlton. That's just not good enough for a player who's intended to be our top scorer.
The bottom line is we've got a squad who don't seem able to defend effectively or manage games. That's not good news for a team supposedly trying to get out of League One. The saddest thing is there was a time when I would have been really hurting seeing Charlton go from leading on 78 minutes to losing on 85. Now though losing at The Valley against AFC bloody Wimbledon just seems about right. Cheers Roland.
No fight it would have been bloody 5-0 had their 'keeper not made save after save... Magennis, Holmes countless times and Lookman... then you had Pearce and Fox making countless tackles and blocks!!!
So, they had two shots on target and scored two goals. What is up with our players??
What is up with our players? We have an owner and CEO who don't give a fuck.
Nothing to do with how shit they are though, having a dick owner doesn't stop Rudd from making a single save all game, and KM doesn't cause Ajose to stroll around like he's in Westfield

She'll have 100% "engagement" from me the day they announce her resignation.
Sadly, it seems to me that Duchatalet and Meire have wrecked the football side of the club and judging by posts and comments, now they have turned fan against fan. We did not lose today because of protests or black-and-white shirts or because of people staying away. We lost because we are a mid-table League 1 side at best. That fact remains. Whether you want to believe what the regime are peddling or not is immaterial to the league table.
We just lost to a team formed 14 years ago, in League One at the Valley. Love this new era!
Slade's a likeable old fashioned football bloke, but let's be honest, regardless of our situation we should be attracting better than him - the fact he took the job in the first place speaks leaps and boundaries. Understandable he's got his hands tied but he knew he would, 60 seconds of research before he took the job would tell him he would have a tough job.
It's poisonous down at SE7 and will be until the owners go, Club's are more than just the team on the pitch and AFC Wimbledon are showing that - results like this today for them, well earned from continuous hard work off the pitch.
So much for valley gold 'academy' day... Didn hear any reference to it at all!
Questions have to be asked of Slade, 2-1 with 5 mins extra time Why not bring your another sub on? Pacey winger in botaka or even another lump in Lennon/Bauer ... Strange!
Comments
We just gave up mid way through the second half.
We had nothing - no fight, passion, desire ... nothing.
That was so strange. We were pretty good and should have been 3 up and then we just stopped.
Weird.
The midfield was so deep it was unreal.
Slade takes the blame for that one.
Fully got what we deserved.
I'll just leave this here.
Unfookingbelievable
Disgraceful performance all round.
Not sure how people can spend their afternoon at the valley, even if it's to protest.
I get away games, different grounds and a good piss up but se7 is one depressing place.

And I'm smiling for my friends at AFC Wimbledon at this.

If I was Slade I'd have Novak starting. And Bauer and Tex or even Lennon in defence
