What was Roland's aim when he took over? The club is now devoid of spirit. Meire is useless and is allowed to continue in the job. Has the " football experience" been achieved. I sit in the Lower North. The familiar faces have gone. The ones now arrive 5 minutes from kick off. Walking in with chips, hot dogs. Go five minutes before half time to buy more. The defeat did not really bother me. It was the apathy of the crowd that did. So RD and KM have their football experience, but it will not be to 27,000 but 2,000. I was one of the 27,000. But it's over. I am only 1 supporter but that's it.
Haven't renewed this season and I haven't bought a ticket for a home game either. Wondering now if there is any flipping point in turning up until the owners well and truly sod off.
A few people have mentioned Wimbledon being a phoenix from the flames kind of club - perhaps it will take that kind of resurrection moment for us to come back. Looking increasingly like we are dead and buried this season already.
Hate feeling this way, but I find it hard to feel the slightest bit positive.

Wimbledon should have been at least 3 down before John Fashanu came on to cause havoc in our defense. Other than Bauer for Konsa and Novak for Ajose, I would have started with the same team. I can understand Ulvestad tiring after 65 minutes(5 matches in a year) but where did the rest of the team go ? Why didn't we play a high line when the 6ft 5in guy came on ? Are we not fit enough to play for 90 minutes ?
I have missed 2 games this season and seen 1 win. Maybe it's me. Decided to buy a ticket for oxforrd prior to todsys match. Sons of to scunny on tuesday... No. Doubt another two wastred journeys.
This has got to be the lowest point ive ever felt being a Charlton fan.so sad to see how far we have fallen.Thank you Roland and thank you Katrien you utter utter scumbags.please just go please.
Slade is in sacking territory so can no longer afford the luxury of not playing Tex Bauer and perhaps Ba. If latter no longer an option, prefer kids than non-funtioning 30 somethings in CM.
Typical Charlton part time performance. This time we started well and some real quality from Lookman gave him a deserved goal to put us in the lead. We then contrived to largely dominate but were profligate with opportunities that arose, particularly Ajose. There then seemed to be a collective team decision that Wimbledon weren't good enough to be on the same pitch as us and we took our foot off the pedal and sat back. At half time we could (should) have been 3 or 4 up. The only Wimbledon opportunity I can recall in the first half was a shot courageously blocked by Fox.
Meanwhile Wimbledon stuck gamely to their pressing game and refused to let their heads drop even though they often seemed to be hanging on by a thread. In 'sitting back mode' we created a lot less in the first twenty five minutes or so of the second half but still had two good chances to get that vital second goal.
Us seasoned Charlton watchers started to get twitchy and turned to our neighbours saying this has got 'Wimbledon equaliser' written all over it as Wimbledon realised that by pressing even more they could still get something whilst our players collectively started to look tired.
Sure enough the inevitable happened. Little or no response from dejected Charlton so rejuvenated Wimbledon pressed again and, horror of horrors, scored again! The corpse of Charlton twitched in its death throes and Shea the Wimbledon goalkeeper made a decent save to deny Lookman but too little too late.
We had some comparative quality individually out there today in Lookman, Holmes and Magennis but Wimbledon were the more disciplined team and refused to give up. The frustrating thing is that had we taken even some of our chances we could have won this one comfortably.
Credit to Wimbledon. They are probably tipped by most to go back from whence they came but the spirit they showed today might just keep them up.

I can think of several worse under the regime, the hammering at Watford was terrible, but the defeat at Colchester, followed by the hammering at Huddersfield (and laundry basket incident, with Henderson having to talk to the media) was surely the nadir?
Spoke briefly with Chris Parkes after the game. He said that we should be grateful we have Roland as our owner because otherwise we could end up like Wimbledon!

The difference being that we are now months further down the line, are in a division below where we were and yet are still getting turned over at home by a club that is barely older than my son.
But its not the worst result in years... Its the worst result this season yet Huddersfield scoring FIVE against us last season was a lot worse.
Christ they only finished a few places ahead of us last season yet somehow managed to put that many past us
I'd take a spanking against Huddersfield or Hull over losing at home to AFC Wimbledon any day
Can I ask why?
Because the level's so much worse. Hull are in the Prem this season. AFC Wimbledon only formed five minutes ago and we're down in League One, a league we should be looking to win, and they're turning us over. It's far more depressing to me
But this is the level we're at for a reason...
We will lose games this season and ultimately its a game between two teams of eleven players, just because one of those squads was only formed five minutes means nothing to me
I don't understand why people think this is any kind of argument. 'Don't be upset when we're shit, we're shit now'. We know. It's why we're upset.
Not saying we've got to accept we're shit we just need to accept we're at the level we're at.
We're where we are on merit and AFC Wimbledon are at the same level because of merit... Its like saying we shouldnt expect to beat Liverpool next week if we played them, why the hell not?
I honestly don't know what your point is. We don't have to accept the level we're at. In fact, to take your point from a page back, no-one does until they abolish promotion and relegation. I don't accept the level we're at. With the resources we have there is absolutely no reason we should even be in this league, let alone losing matches like this. To 'accept the level we're at' is to accept the shite that's been foisted on us for the past two years and I refuse. If you want to blithely accept being turned over by Wimbledon because the footballing gods have deemed it so then fine, but we are where we are because of atrocious decisions that have been made over and over again by feckless, dishonest morons.
Coupled with there are still a lot of apologists around I'm afraid.

But buckle up, it can get even worse.
The other games were far far worse because in all of them we were completely outplayed, embarrassingly so. Today we were beaten by a team who had 2 shots on target, and nothing until the 78th minute.
Yes we aren't good enough at the moment Yes, our second half performance was poor And yes I want RD and KM out
But as the PA Association report on the BBC website says
Charlton were punished for wasting several chances after AFC Wimbledon scored two late goals to win at the Valley.
That happens in football. That it was Wimbledon is neither here nor there, they are a team in our division, we're not too "massive" to lose to anyone
As the pundits say we didn't score when we were on top. As long as the result is still 1-0 the opposition always have an option to get back into the match.
Very disappointed that we could not hold on to our victory. Especially, because IMO our next match is against the team who will win the division this year.
Midfield is very poor and that will be our downfall for this season.
Give it time - "Be patient" - and I suspect another might not be too far away. Unfortunately.
The sad thing, for me, is that I barely felt any emotion as Jeff Stelling announced there'd been another goal at The Valley. I've already seen that film.
I make you right on all points.
I'm exactly the same. It upsets me that I just don't really care.
I spoke to an elderly fan in length on the way to the game today. He seemed fairly oblivious as to the protests and that fans were upset with how the club was being run.
Made me think about the average fan and that most never see the posts on here.
do us really think we were that good do u really think we dominated Our midfield is crap To slow not enough energy Afc no 8 ran the first half Yes we missed chances we are at home for good sake Lookmans goal great, apart from that i thought we were average Really sad we have too lively wingers all we do is lump it for forward Time and time again. Mid field just not mobile enough Defence to deep Konza being played to just attract buyers Not knocking him just a fact Otherwise why would you not play more experienced and higher wage earners Thought he had a good game though Left back for us just not good enough gave his winger ten yards on numerous Occasions, always out of postion

Looking around the west stand this seemed apparent to me today also.
The message isn't clear what we aren't happy about.
Good teams know how to build on an early lead and go on and win games. Slade, unfortunately does not have a good team nor a decent bench as he saw fit to just replace Ajose with Novak. Addicks were out thought off and out fought on the pitch. AFC did their homework ultimately deserving victory. Absence of teamwork worrying as Lookman won't be making goals for himself every week. Magennis didn't receive one decent ball ie to chest let alone feet. Turning point when Holmes50 yard surge across the pitch finished finally drawing 3 defenders but finishing tamely with Lookman to his left and ready to pounce. AFC fresh legs made the difference and after today questions will be raised about Slade's tactical nous.

Rudd takes too long to release the ball.
We play long balls up to the front man but give him little support.
Solly is and never will be a captain.
Midfield far too deep.
Why we didnt bring another forward on I will never work out.
Slade can't walk the walk.
I fucking hate Belgians.
Stating the obvious but we are letting too many goals in, play Tex and Baeur.
Very lazy performance, particularly the last 30, they just seemed to give up.
Boo

Slade needs to pick his strongest team and not have people on the bench who suit this level but aren't called on.
Frustration, Frustration, frustration!

He asked for east stand near to the middle. We had row N100:99.
We were in white and black with a bit of red.
We got some initial grief off people around us until they realised we were massively into supporting the team. We didn't hear boos where we were.
We struggled with seeing the formation because we were a bit too low down.
In front of us, fox, Holmes, Lookman, Konsa dos well.
Solly, unusually got done by their no 10 who was very tidy. If is could I would but Poleon tomorrow. Very tricky even down the wing.
Very disappointed that we could not hold on to our victory. Especially, because IMO our next match is against the team who will win the division this year.

Roland's still a cunt.
