The shot football doesn't help.
Last year often the protests were both more entertaining than the football but also seemed to spur on the football.
Last year I had season tickets in lower west much closer to the Jimmy seed than the covered end. Never going to make that mistake again.
You're grounds too big for you and this is an wedding library and give us a song ring loud now but at least league 1 away support looks a bit less than championship.
It's not good though. A rocking Valley with >15k home support is an impossibility under Katrien.

Any PR agency worth their salt will know all about their client's past. I'd expect them to have spent time with the SMT to get their take on things. I expect the PR Agency has made the same mistake that most people do when they attempt to 'take on' football fans. They think we are all a bunch a drunken, racist knuckle draggers. They then seemed shocked that we out PR their PR.19

Paul Walsh had a right go at Duchatelet on Soccer Saturday early.
Talking about foreign managers in lowers leagues he said they gone thru about 10 and added, prompted by David Prutton, that Charlton only had an English manager now due to fan pressure.
Iain Dowie, also on the panel didn't comment.

All the SMT care about is positive PR and a clean CV ...they know their days are numbered. The club itself, and fans, are way down in their list of priorities as events of the last two years have proved.
So, we continue to counter the PR, and keep posting the truth about each individual online.
If they are not careful we will not only make the club unmanageable, but also make the individuals unemployable.
Get out of our club and salvage what you can, while you can.11 -

CARD have said they are too busy to meet me, understand but disappointed. If any of you do fancy a beer let me know which pub to go to - expecting Timbuktu top of the list so at least be original if not funny.0

I asked if you had seen the comment from the CARD statement that said;
"We stand ready to assist any incoming regime in any way we can" as you had said that the rejection of the PR stunt would deter a potential buyer that you had spoken to.
I also suggested that you point this to the potential buyer you mentioned and that you ask the potential buyer to contact CARD direct.
Ball is in your court. You said you were talking to someone able to afford to buy the club so you could take real action that could end all the protests.
Sorry that your son isn't attending but as you know your wife's fears are completely unfounded. I doubt very much that that is how many outsiders are view matters. I think most see the decline of the club being due to the mis-management by the SMT and owner and the protests as peaceful, fun, well run and very intelligent and effective in raising awareness. That is why the regime are so desperate to undermine them and prevent them.19 -

Unfortunately for them, as @Henry Irving has pointed out, CARD have ensured that, in every protest, there has been nothing to worry about. If there had been, it would have hit the national media, whereas all we are getting from the media, in the main, is support.6 -
It is true though that people are not coming in part because of the protests.
Not every dad wants to take his 6 year old to a match where the main chant is Hey Roland, even in the family end.
I spoke to three parents today at Roo's 7 year old south Kent league game all of whom have been to the valley before and enjoyed it but who won't go if they know it's a protest day.
I think the protests are worth it. They agreed. It didn't want to run the risk of being involved if it all went a bit wrong.0 -

In any case there is one very easy way for Katrien and Roland to stop the protests. Sell the club.1 -
