The guy sitting behind RM/KM one of her heavies. He was threatening to me over a flag and other issues and he was the one who made first 'contact' with the lad for the incident outside.
Heavies being the operative word. No wonder he needs three seats. I imagine a nifty 10-metre sprint would leave him in a wheezing heap.

If she's paying for close protection security, she is rummaging through the same bargain bin as she does for footballers. What a shabby gang of thugs.

    She's not. The club is.

You're flagging me for digging out the bully boy?!
    Get real!

    No, not at all!

The flag was for using a racial epithet. This forum is a great place to discuss, debate and disagree, as mildly, strongly or as offensively as people want. But I don't think there's any need to slip into racially-charged language. We're better than that.

I'm always going to call it out when people step over the line. And, for me, the line is racist name-calling.

    No offence meant.
so you're accusing me of racism? That's some accusation.
By your logic you'd have to flag a fair number of posts relating to the actions of Meire's other security guards. Why haven't you done so?

It's interesting to see that you've posted nothing regarding the events yesterday (on or off the pitch)

I think admin once called you out for posting only to get a rise out of people on here ,so don't go on about this being a great place to share opinion etc etc when you're clearly on here to get on people's nerves.

    You've outdone yourself here...

No. I'm not accusing you of racism. I'm sure that wasn't your intent. And, if you removed that one word, I'd be more than happy to remove the flag.

It's a disgusting word and I hate it. I can't apologise for that.

Call the guy whatever you want. But if you you use a racial epithet, don't be surprised if someone takes exception.

Let's just agree that, if you want to leave that term there, I'll leave the flag. Is that fair?
    How about this....
Leave the flag there, and I'll leave the post as it was.

    :)

Sure. If it's so important for you to use racially provocative epithets, go ahead.
    Behave mate ffs

That directors box looks a great place to watch a football match!...........The fucking faces on them!!...............They should be as happy as 'pigs in shit' having such a good view and comfortable seat!!!
Keep it up Ladies & Gents.............that was quality yesterday, it MUST be sinking in now that they REALLY are NOT WANTED!
COYR..........great result yesterday as well by the way!

Not everyone in there supports the regime by default. Look at previous demonstrations and it is obvious there is backing for the protests there. While I would not want to sit anywhere near Meire and her cronies - fear of being hit by pigs and of having my view blocked by sheets lowered from above to the fore - we should not label anyone who does as a collaborator. The danger is they too become identified as being supporters of what is going on, but that's their risk.

Apparently Mowgli recruits them for her after he's spent hours watching YouTube videos of nightclub bouncers throwing their weight around.

Any truth in the rumour that Katrien's bedroom is now full of pink pigs and stress balls?

Probably the four times he has ever been out in London, these guys have him some grief and there you go, that's enough to be hired as a professional bodyguard, plain clothes security specialist.

    Wankers.

I think @cabbles and Kat are separated much to my disappointment.

Guys, there's an old saying, 'know your enemy'..... where a fan sits is a matter of personal choice; please do not assume that everyone sitting in the Directors Box are on freebies from 'the regime'. I for one pay the full price for my seat, lounge and car park pass and have done since I left my position as Commercial Director in 2009. Also, contrary to the assertion made in an earlier post, Chris Roberts the former Leader of Greenwich Council, pays full price for his seat. Who do you think is handing out freebies for heaven's sake....most of the people in the seats around me are either season ticket holders or corporate hospitality guests. Unless I'm sitting with the Charlton Athletic Community Trust and its guests in my role as a CACT Ambassador, I sit with or near my former colleagues and Board members, Alwen, Simons, Whitehand, White, Collins, Sumners, Ufton......please stop this aggression towards anyone sitting in the Directors Box, it's very disappointing.

I'm sorry but that doesn't really wash with me. You could choose to sit anywhere in the ground but you knowingly choose to sit near people who are ruining the club. If I chose to associate with known football hooligans at a match I could hardly complain if I were the subject of some Police attention.

Given that a Charlton supporter was assaulted by a number of people who shared the Director's box with you, ( as witnessed by many people on this forum including myself ) and that they were almost certainly directed to do so by other people sharing the Director's box with you I would suggest that you choose other people to share the match day experience with. If you fail to do so, knowing all that, then you can hardly complain if you viewed as part of the problem.
Tricky one is this. We know 100% that David White, Suthers, Keith Peacock etc are friends and not the enemy.

Perhaps, it's getting to the point that our "friends" ask to be moved elsewhere. Not sure where.

Sit just outside the box and leave Meire, Murray & the Parkes to sit there alone.

The better option rather than everyone else move would be for everyone involved to request that Meire no longer sits there.

In fact there is no benefit to her being there full stop.

Just look at those Charlton hooligans.
And this is why we will win

I see your point but I think that is a bit harsh.

I do not think you can tie everybody with the same brush.

I bought a Kim Jung Il face mask on EBay a couple weeks ago and took it yesterday but ultimately never put it on. After hearing about the stewarding I am a little sorry I didn't, especially how close I was sat to the Directos area. Maybe next time or maybe 2,000 of them next time...!

By the way, the chap with the "Message to you RD..." banner is a regular poster on here. I don't want to give identities in case they would rather not, but - well played fella! Great banner.

Thanks Davo. It took me six hours to make that and it was only up for a couple of minutes! Well worth the effort though. Do you think if I write to the club nicely they will post it back to me?
I believe that they are required to return confiscated items after the match. Don't know how long they keep stuff or what they do with any unclaimed items, but worth the try.
Thanks for that Davo, I will give the club a call, send an email and write a letter. Would I be pushing it to ask if they could enclose the two pigs I threw too?
