Nuggent saying that "the Charlton job is now a great one" and that it's a very attractive role Somehow I don't think the fans and the majority of managers out there agree!
Felt it when he was here and it seems to be even more so the case now, I don't think he's a good coach at all. Strange to think two years ago he was managing in the Championship.
Also, am I right in thinking all of his signings bar Jason Pearce are gone (Novak, Foley, Rudd, Crofts, Chicksen)? Weren't the Holmes and Ajose transfers basically done or done by the time he got there?
Russell Slade stood there with his hands in his pockets then for a change would fold his arms. He was as boring as the teams he put out. Robinson for all his faults wants his team to attack (shame about the lack of Six yard box tap in merchant)

Tony and KM turn this graph upside down in their meetings, right?
'Really Dad? Roland just sacks everyone. You, you're sacked, you you're sacked, you you're sacked blah blah you're sacked'
'Whose going to be our manager now dad?'
'Well not sure but there's this network guy Chris o'loughlin been appointed to the coaching staff'
'Never heard of him again dad, sounds rubbish'
'Want to go tomorrow?'
'I dunno, probably not. Who we versying?'
'Port Vale.'
'Maybe, let's see.'

He came with this wave of expectation just because he was British and "knew the leagues"
The only reason why he had a good depth of knowledge regarding these leagues is because he has never got a team out of them and never been promoted.
We desperately need promotion.
I've never known a manager to be so terrified of trying to play attacking football whilst managing a club as big as ours in League One.
Robinson has his faults, but I feel much more comfortable leading us than I ever did with Slade.
