No offence but that is such a ‘fans answer’. Bowyer could be by far the best manager potential out the three, none of us really know. Yet some fans will happily go with a gut feel based on Euell being a nice guy and Bowyer being a twat as a youngster.
Thankfully we can trust Roland to get that decision right.
So no CEO, no chairman, Richard Murray's taken a vow of silence, Roland's too busy dancing in St Truiden and soon we'll have no manager.
Anyone up for staging a coup? I reckon ten of us would be enough.
We storm the building at 10am via reception, order the receptionist to just carry on doing what she normally does, because she seemed like quite a nice lady last time I met her. Then we burst into the ticket office and order all of the ticket office staff to carry on with what they were doing, because they were quite good at it before Katrien started sticking her huge lying beak in. Then we break into whatever room the NHS Call Centre's based in and politely ask them if they'd mind looking for alternative premises. Then we smash our way into all the refreshment kiosks and replace all of the stock with edible food and drinkable beer.
Half hour tea break at 11.30, followed by filling in the potholes in the car park, which leaves us all afternoon and evening to torture Tony Cahones.
If he is stepping down I just want to say I wish him the best of luck and thank him for his time here. Not everyone’s cup of tea and I have become a little frustrated with his over dependence on 4-2-3-1 and how stale it’s got recently, but few managers would’ve stood a chance under old bad teeth. Definitely not one with as relatively little experience as he has.
I truly believe deep down he’s put a shift in given the shambles we are and I know he wanted it to work. I don’t think anyone can take away his passion and commitment.

Karl, if you’re off, good luck
Well said.
There’s been so much rubbish said on here lately. I too have been frustrated and the time is right for change but he was without doubt the best one since Powell.
Mess. Simple as. We've had some bad times in the past, but this one is just pure farce - only just really caught up with this - or in a minute I'll wake up and put it down to a bad dream. Spot on AFKA - me too.

Yes. I would never have expected this from the fruitcake's fruitcake Duchatelet.
I like robbo but it has become increasingly obvious that we are going nowhere at the moment so a change surely means nothing to lose until the new regime comes in and if all goes well, we may even bounce into the play offs - it couldn't carry on how it was, that's for sure. COYR!!!!!

If we don't stop at 4pm for afternoon tea, count me out.
I am mostly disappointed in this. The club needs stability and he brought with him, at least, some enthusiasm. And some of the best football I have seen in years.
Saying that, his failings are obvious and we haven’t got time for him to learn on the job.
He seemed passionate about the club, but that isn’t enough. I can’t knock the bloke for not trying or up until now, not having his heart in it.
We keep on saying this, but do we know that the next one will be any better?
Good Luck Karl... but to make your own, be a bit more flexible in your beliefs.
I supported him up until about a month ago when he clearly lost the dressing room. I wish him all the best but won't miss his waffling and excuses. I can't help but feel sorry for lee Bowyer. He's on a hiding to nothing.

Best football you have seen in years? Better than Riga? Better than Powell? Better than Luson? All more entertaining than KR in fact BP was better football as well.
Learn on the Job he has over 400 games more than most managers ever get. And he still can't player 4231 well.
No offense, but it's only 60 hours until a vital game. Can we not talk about all this until after 5 pm Saturday. It will only upset all the players glued to these threads.

Not at all, I like Bowyer, I just don’t think he’d have the back like the other two would.
This was always going to be the case with Robinson. Look again at the comments from MK Dons fans at the time of his departure. They reflect what most Addicks say now about him. I disagree that he’s the best manager since Powell left as I’d be amazed if Robinson could get anywhere near in achieving what Riga did in his first spell with us. The football was good for a couple of months but even then typically never for more than about one half of a game. Still incredibly he has a reputation for expansive and attractive football. However, it rarely translates into many goals or more importantly, wins. I pity the next club he manages as the fans will watch the same scenario of him being pally with the players and reading from his book of cliches and excuses unfolds.

Not necessarily, regarding Bowyer, I think it's almost a freeroll for him some senses , the expectation levels are going to be very low at this point given the current mess, if he does somehow manage to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat , its going to be a feather in his cap.
I loved his enthusiasm and passion for the game but let’s not pretend that these last 20 games and 19 points or whatever it was in this poniest of leagues was anything but an absolute disaster . He had lost the players and had to go and I’m happy to have a charity bet we’ll average at least a point a game from here on in with anyone / no one / Seth’s goat / Roland or whoever managing us .

Admittedly the first half of Powell’s promotion season was quite good. I missed it due to family commitments though. Yes, we may have had a better win rate under some of the others, but I was thoroughly entertained for the first time in over 10 years at the the start of this campaign. Fast and Fluid. The problems at Plymouth though (I wasn’t there) were to ultimately set the tone for the rest of the season.
Yes, he should have learnt by now but he is too rigid and I’m sure he come to his senses one day. Maybe.
To be honest, think I am more sad that Billy Clarke’s roll won’t be the same again, if he is here.

And Roly intends to appoint him in 10 days time just to prove that he has a sense of humour but only at our expense.

Oh, and fuck you Roland.
He had the opportunity at the start of the season but blew it big time. Too much talk, nowhere near enough wins with the squad that he had.
I wish him all the best but won't miss his waffling and excuses.

Pardew & Fraeye remain the only two Charlton managers I have ever hated.
