The last marquee signing we made was the one required to cover Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's backside13

Excellent. At least we can stop paying his wages nowHenry Irving said:5 -

I expect we are still providing some of his wages, but I actually see this move as another potential indicator that a sale might happen. He and his advisers rate Igor and so they may want to use him for the rest of the season on the cheap.AllHailTheHen said:

Robinson had choice of Watt or Igor and chose Watt according to SLP
Reads like Zulte didnt want to carry on paying a small part of Igor's wages and so sent him back. Since Robinson didn't want him (and quite possibly Igor didn't want to come back) he is shifted to STVV.
Still paying, literally, for the mistakes of previous years. Oh, for the fully fit Igor of his first half season under peeters now.10 -
I think I'd take a fully fit Igor over Watt.13

Me too...The Red Robin said:I think I'd take a fully fit Igor over Watt.

A choice of Igor or Watt?
Igor wins that all day long. Maybe he's on higher wages though.5 -
It'll be the main reason I suspect.SELR_addicks said:A choice of Igor or Watt?

Is he fully fit now? He hasn't scored yet this season, which isn't great even if he is being played out of positionThe Red Robin said:I think I'd take a fully fit Igor over Watt.

The love in for Igor is strange, he was brilliant for a month and has been poor for the next 2 years. Sounds to me like he's permantly crooked which is sad, no goals in Belguim tells its own story.11

Permanently crocked because our ownership forced him to play injured.cafcsinger said:The love in for Igor is strange, he was brilliant for a month and has been poor for the next 2 years. Sounds to me like he's permantly crooked which is sad, no goals in Belguim tells its own story.

The choice isn't between a fully fit Igor and a fully fit Watt. It's not even a fully fit Igor and and part fit Watt.
It's a part fit Watt and a part fit Igor.
Not sure who I'd want tbh. Particularly if igor doesn't want to be here..3 -
Exactly, so Igor or Watt is a no brainer? The Red Robin said:

I assume they paid Chesterfield a decent loan fee, as why would they loan someone out otherwise?Henry Irving said:http://mobile.sufc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/sheffield-united-chris-wilder-jay-oshea-3535072.aspx

We hope that Charlton can stop paying his wages. I think there is a good chance part of the wages are still being paid by Charlton.AllHailTheHen said:

Sint Truiden (the poor buggers) are Duchatelet's primary footballing interest and the terms are more likely to be favourable to that part of the Duchatelet footballing empire.1 -
Apparently it was the player who wanted to go, it seems they'll be bringing in replacementsCovered End said:

Didn't we get Lee Cook (2nd spell) from Leyton Orient when we were top.killerandflash said:

He had played for the O's earlier in the season on loan and he also rejoined them the following season.1 -
Looks like Ba is staying... Just like a new signing12

I still find it odd that we never played Ba at all during the 1st half of the season, when our midfield was so slow and weak.moutuakilla said:Looks like Ba is staying... Just like a new signing

Watt should have been way more fit when he came back in the first place - hardly like he has has been at home wcthing Netflix all day every day for the first half pf the season. He's has been on loan at a professional football club after all.JamesSeed said:

Yes, but he should be reasonably fit by now. Although the match against Scunthorpe would have helped, as training never replicates match practice.Exiled_Addick said:

As I know from my marvellous three seasons in the London (un)Friendly League.1
