Must be something wrong with your keyboard mate cos it's put pasta on the end of your post.
I think it might be a bug on CL - I'd keep a watch out for that, pasta.

Bloke I know has some poncy fry up concoction in 'The Big Breakfast' in Beckenham with asparagus.

    Asparagus FFS ?!?
  • It's called a 'fry-up', therefore anything that hasn't been fried has no place on the plate.

    Sausages
    Bacon
    Eggs (runny)
    Bubble
    Black Pudding
    Mushrooms
    Fried slice
    Fried tomatoes
Hash browns (for those that wish to push the boundaries and don't have taste buds developed enough to appreciate bubble).

    Brown sauce for the professionals.

    Chips are for children.
    Baked beans are for amateurs.

    Lesson ends

There's a bang average cafe in a Brentwood that does scallops as a breakfast option. Serves you right for being over that way to be fair.

I never knew you needed to have a refined palate to fully appreciate the refined qualities of fried up leftovers.

Think the place you talk of is called Cafe Lowe's.

I'm not overly familiar with Brentwood but that is where "Konch's Kafe" pie and mash shop is.
  • Beans have to be as hot as the core of the sun otherwise they can f*** right off
  • My wife said put the pie in at 120 degrees.
