It would be amazing if we get cleanly bought out at £33M and the loans are "taken care of" (whatever that means.) But given we know the following...
1. Debt to Staprix + Directors was £67M at the end of 2017-18 and likely went higher after 2018-19.
2. Roland wanted £60-70M while we were in League One, basically the debt he claims CAFC owes him on the books
3. His mouthpiece at fan forums stated potential buyers who bid less would need "creative" ways to fund the gap
4. He wanted player sell-on fees to fund the gap
5. He has said on more than on occasion that he might keep assets of the club and lease them back
Well.... it just seems not at all like Roland to suddenly sell the club at 1/2 what he wanted now that we have been promoted to the Championship, where club values actually rise. Roland does not seem like the type to just give-up nor does he seem like the type to accept reality now when being in a higher league puts him in a better position than one year ago. Even when I hear we are sold I will be holding my breath a bit until ALL the details of the takeover are public and we discover whether he still has his stinking paws in the club through other means. Having new "owners" is one thing. Having new owners while Roland owns the Valley and leases it back to us for ten years is another. Perhaps my hesitancy is just a Pavlovian response....but I just don't trust him. Count me as dubious about this takeover happening and still worried even if it does happen, until proven otherwise.

Honest.
He would only compromise about 2%
That's still a good sign for me
Are we sole'd or not sole'd that's all I want to know...
just think, all will be clear(er) at the fans forum when we will be able to quiz a member of the SMT.
oh wait.........
