Listening to talksport now, Jim white just told Simon Jordan that he spoke to Roland who said he thinks he got the better of Jordan in their chat last week. Absolutely deluded. Good to see Jim White and his old pal Roland having a laugh though, twat.

Simon Jordan was being respectful and understanding with Roland. He at least attempted to put himself in his ducktaped shoes.

I know this thread is about the sale of Charlton (in our dreams), but if this report is true then we really do need to be worried, as were not being sold, were being dissected bit by bit.

This would be a bad idea IMO. #CAFC

Brentford are in talks with Charlton to sign striker Lyle Taylor, according to Sky Sources

Still a fair bit of pain to be absorbed before we rid ourselves of the Belgian clusterf*ck.

Sells Taylor + others. Bowyer walks/ takes another offer. Complete fan boycott. Prolonged attacks in Belgian.Relegation. Roland finds a way to stick the club in admin and finally fucks off.

    Can't wait!

If Roland sells Taylor the Summer Transfer Window thread might end up rivalling this one as the GOAT thread.

Didn't he sell everything at Standard and then leave? Could it be he is doing this now to get money to pay off the directors and then sell to the highest bidder? Just a thought.

How much is the playing squad factored into the overall price of a selling club?

Well this is all utterly depressing. Hoping it a smoke screen to take atttention away from AD's departure but nothing would surprise me anymore.

The playing squad represents 40% of the asking price of the club, right now.

RD has set out the cost of the club, divided, as follows, across its major assets:

    1. Playing squad - 40% of the total asking price of the club
    2. The Valley - 40%
    3. The training ground - 40%
    4. The car park at the Valley - 30%
    5. The ticket office/NHS reception area - 30%
    6. The shirt sponsorship real estate - 25%
    7. Shorts, ditto - 20%
    8. Socks, ditto - 10%
    9. Naming rights to the stadium - 55%
    10. the feint smell of defeatism that pervades all the facilities - 5%

Did Napa put that model together for him?

You are crediting RD with more football intelligence than he has. He blunders his way through his CAFC management. Occasionally stumbling on the good (Bowyer) but mostly kicking us in the balls.

That cannot be true, LDT is working flat out on the five groups who are battling to buy us  :)
Tickling the price up by a different number for each group but cleverly using a different coloured crayon for each one so he doesn’t forget whose price is who

What a joke ... not only is RD doing his utmost to destroy our club, but we also have Burger Boy STILL stealing a salary for doing nothing. I thought he’d be long gone by now.

So glad to hear as I thought all the parties had buggered off by this point, but what happened to their ultimatum deadline they gave to old Roly? Also does this mean they've found extra funders?

In Duche's mind the value remains the same. £1 for the football club, £40+ mill for everything else.
