I would have thought that if you tell staff in a office meeting you are accepting that it is now in the public domain - especially if that meeting is reported in the National press.
It is one thing to be to told something confidential in a one to one meeting or a management meeting where a demand for confidentiality is the norm, but an open staff meeting! No way.0 -

Harvey’s brewery is in Lewes.
Tom Paine, revolutionary, philosopher, and one of the founding fathers of the USA, was born in England and lived in Lewes for a few years before leaving for the colonies.3 -
