Amen. These policies are *PROGRESSIVE*. The Tory propaganda machine is *REGRESSIVE*.mcgrandall said:

Those young people didn't ever have to travel on a nationalised railway run by British Rail or suffer when the country was in the grip of the Trade Unions with constant strikes. Labour Governments have always overspent and left the economy in a worse state than they found it.mcgrandall said:
I'm hoping this puts an end to the suggestion of a take over by the hard left, maybe they have finally given a mandate that the whole Labour party can accept and build upon together. If the have energised the youth vote, they have defied the establishment again. Early days yet saying that.PragueAddick said:In the pub, my niece said that this time round, the youth vote is real. Privatising the railways has really been a great success....
Should I start reminding you of all the disasters the Tories have presided over?
Tbh we're probably f***ed whoever is in charge. Our economy is knackered!
They lost control of the EU referendum, they lost control of the General Election. They're gonna have to stop the negative campaigns.3 -

Honestly Corbyn would be wise to stay out of this. Tories would be in a mess internally and he has a head of steam. Wait 12 months and he could get a majority.
Go now and he risks ruining it for himself as he couldn't get any of the policies through that people voted for.0 -
Does May even know what she believes in?mcgrandall said:

Get a Tory remainer in for a soft Brexit?1 -
I'm just pointing out that we've been through the 'tax and spend' policy before and it didn't work. I sincerely hope I'm wrong and that if Corbyn should form a Government it doesn't happen again.Callumcafc said:

We might end up with a Tory Government, thanks to the Scots!
Sadly, I'd expect Labour to do better out of the SNP disintegrating to be fair; if the Conservatives do manage quite well north of the border, then I fully expect Ruth to lead the entire party now. She'll have done a cracking job.
Plus I imagine she would never want the job.0 -
You may have a point, but I said the same about Corbyn very recently.DamoNorthStand said:

Corbyn was supposedly the Labour Party's internal mess, and one that would be rolled over this year.0 -
Well it's looking like it won't until the next election as he wont have a majority to get his tax and spend polices through.ME14addick said:

Jeremy Corbyn meeting Donald Trump.8 -
Another Tory gain in Scotland. Renfrewshire East this time.0

Billy Elliott just won Renfrewshire East3

Can I just say credit to all the C/conservatives on here. You all are taking this with a lot more grace and class than I might (and let's be real for a second, your party will probably have the Prime Ministership come Monday).1

Lib Dem gain Dunbartonshire East from SNP.0

Used to live there mate! If anything, like the rest of the country, I'm getting back in touch with my youth.LuckyReds said:

To be fair, hardly anyone on here seemed particularly enthused for May's Tories, considering not a single poster posted any kind of comprehensive support for any of their policies. Mostly, they're just anti-Corbyn.SDAddick said:Can I just say credit to all the C/conservatives on here.
