  • Booooooooooo!
  • Couple more sherlackings from the big boys could break the back of it. 1 point from 6 from the last 2 games is not good for the stripey twats...
  • They’ll be well-chuffed with the point cos of the way they got it, but in terms of the run rate, they now need 1.2 points a game to stay up.
  • Still not a good result for them.

They need to be beating West Ham at home.
  • Got a very winnable ruin of games after spurs next week. Concerning.
  • West Ham will be lucky to get 3 points from their next 7 matches. Brutal schedule coming up. They will be in 19th by the time that is done.
  • To be honest, they will have been looking to bin off the Man Utd and Chelsea games and win against Newcastle and West Ham so it still hasn't gone as well as they would have hoped

  • After spurs away next week Palace have these games between now and christmas:

    Everton H
    Stoke H
    Brighton A
    West Brom A
    Bournemouth H
    Watford H
    Leicester A
    Swansea A

A relatively 'easy' run of games they'll be looking to get at least 4-5 wins from. Currently on 4 points from 10 games, if they can get 14 points from that lot then they're back up to a point per game.
  • They’ll jam their way to safety.
I had the temerity at 0-2 to think maybe they will go down , all my fault .
Despite their awful start they’re only 4 well 5 points cos of goal diff from safety .
  • I want West Ham down as well as the stripeys. So for me it's the ideal result. Both squads will remain full of self-doubt.

Brilliant result yesterday. Done neither side any good at all in reality and will have knocked the stuffing out of the Hammers to concede like they did.

Fear that Bilic is toast now though...just when he's doing such a fantastic job. Fat Sam's available!
  • Great pic of both managers when Zaha scored. The pressure must be immense at that level.

Great image, but shame it isn't the other way around

They've got to win 4 or 5 of them games though Chris
  • Absolutely, and there's no easy game in the premier league. Was just pointing out that their run of games isn't so bad, but i guess the easier games bring a different kind of pressure. If they go to City and United they don't expect anything, but lose at Brighton (especially Brighton) or Swansea and the pressure cranks up.

Remember the year we went down we had Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the first five games. We lost at Upton Park as well which meant our win against Bolton only gave us three points out of the five matches.

I often wonder if we had a different start then maybe we would have stayed up . I think Palace are in a similar position. Losing has become a habit.

And all without Benteke, who apparently is out until well into January.

    Shame...

You're right Chris, these are potentially easier fixtures than many in in the Prem, but just to put it in perspective:

    Everton are better than Palace.
    Stoke are better than Palace.
    Brighton are better than Palace.
West Brom are better than Palace.
    Bournemouth are better than Palace.
    Watford are better than Palace.
    Leicester are better than Palace.
    Swansea are better than Palace.
I would say that West Brom, Bournemouth, Everton, Leicester and Stoke should be, Watford will be but Brighton and Swansea could go either way.
  • looks like West Ham & Palace have signed a mutual suicide pact .. yesterday, the Hammers should have been outta sight before gifting an equaliser to their 'brothers in peril' .. long hard seasons to continue for both of them

Reckon they'll beat Everton and Bournemouth and may well get something at Brighton (though I sincerely hope not, definitely want Sussex to triumph over Surrey). Stoke and Watford really ought to be beating them, as should all the other aways. They'll probably get something out of one or two though I can't see them winning 4 or 5.

Bournemouth looking likely for the drop at the moment, I mean, even Chrystal Palace can beat Chelsea...

Suspect the stripy jam-merchants will fluke their way out of it, right at the end of the season, probably with a good goal disallowed for the opposition or Zaha's diving going unpunished.

(On a side note, my son did Junior Park Run today in a Halloween costume. Not many did costumes, but the scariest was the kid in the Crystal Palace kit - it looked suspiciously like a creepy clown outfit, which is ironic given what they like to call us)

Pretty sure they can’t stay up with nine points.

    Swansea v Brighton
And stoke v Leicester the weekend
    Good isn't it
