4 points from 33. Lost 9 of 11. Rock bottom. 4 goals in 11 matches. Failed to score in 9 of them. Minus 18 goal difference. Only one Palace player has scored in open play.

I think Spurs will be relieved to get the 3 pts from that.
I get your point but it was always going to be a tough game for Spurs following on from the rout of those part timers Real Madrid during the week in the Champions League.
And a blessed relief for Palace to play a lower league side like Spurs following their 4-1 thrashing by the mighty Bristol City.

It's all enough to make one cry laugh!
You do know they’ll still stay up though don’t you?
Think some clever chap early in this thread did a statistical breakdown of the number of points Palace need to get per game in order to have a reasonable chance of staying up. An update would be good.
Home to Everton next. You'd fancy them to get three points from that based on Everton's recent form. However, Everton likely to have a new manager in place by then - you'd expect to see a reaction of some sort. We've been on the wrong end of that enough times, the ultimately useless Brian Kidd's 1-0 victory over us in his first game in charge of Blackburn always sticks in my mind for some reason.
My only fear is...the longer this goes on for, increases "a potential" for a survival at the death celebration, where they just about get out of the bottom 3 on the last game of the season.

That would be awful.
Lots of winnable fixtures coming up for them over the next few weeks. Despite their pathetic start, they could easily beat Everton and stoke in their next two and they'd be right back in contention. Far too early to count any chickens yet.
The positive for me is that I guess they'll have to be one of the top ten sides in the country between now and the end of the session in order to stay up.
I mentioned a few weeks back that the bottom clubs aren’t actually pulling away from them very much and that’s still the case....hate to say it, but they are far from being dead and buried..................................yet!

As much chance of palice staying up as us winning the champions league this season.

May the "good" times continue!
