The usual contenders for relegation places are the three teams who were promoted the year before. So far this season Newcastle, Brighton and Huddersfield are all playing well and getting points on the board. Although this won’t last and they will probably have a poor run, importantly these three promoted teams all have currently collected 15 and 14 points. Add goal difference to this, and Palace need 11 and 12 points just to overcome these teams. Even in early November although not impossible it is stil a big ask.
There is still a long way to go, but if I was a Palace fan I would be getting very worried now. So far so good.
If I were a Palace fan, I'd be trying to work out if there are three teams worse than them in next season's Championship.

Well if we get promoted... there’s one.
Thread rule no.2 - no poster shall make a wisecrack about Palace being better than Charlton.

True - cause they don't have Naby Sarr upfront
TBF, almost just a fag paper between the total number of league goals scored by Nabby Sarr this season and the total number of league goals scored by the entire Crystal Palace squad...
Probably some sort of chances-created algorithm. It's certainly true that they've played better than the table reflects and not gotten the rub of the green. Long may it continue
