Apart from making Europe they have done what mistakes mid table sides can hope for 2 big results no relegation scrap - just need to hold on to players now
They'll get good money for him. If they invest it well then his departure will mark the beginning of a slow decline back to the Championship. If they invest it poorly, they'll go down next season.
If you think this board was going into meltdown last night following a vague rumour about Taylor moving on, take a sneaky look at Holmesdale Chat. OK I know it's not nice to go there but it is worth it to see the vitriol directed towards Zaha!
just shows how little and worthless contracts are - this type of player power is not good for the game palace or not.
if he didn't want to be there don't sign a 5 year deal - he is on 130k per week as for the champs league bits and peices - clearly signing for palace is not going to get you that.
makes the Taylor goings on seem like a non event.
surely if under contract you cannot just not turn up for training as you are being paid to do so - also if he doesnt go - the fans should give him constant grief for the season.

Even signing for Everton won't get them Champs League football. Can anyone honestly see Everton finishing above three or all of Spurs, Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea?

everton will have a good season but think they will be pushing for 5/6th which will be european football, but then again it will be tough.

Oh please let this be true. Then maybe, just maybe this can be a very enjoyable thread this coming season!
I doubt Palace have another that can fall over as often coming through.
They've now got the dilemma of letting him go without a replacement or keeping an unhappy player
Should have moved him on early in the window and found a replacement over the course of the summer
