BBC have done a guide to the stadiums.... one of them has seats that are situated outside the main bulk of the stadium as they needed to get the capacity over 35,000
quite a few of them have been built for this world cup. just seen that morocco are in the bidding to host the 2026 world cup. they will have to build 9 of the 14 stadiums from scratch.
off the top of my head we could host the world cup without having to increase any of the stadiums capacity (not so sure of other regulations needed but they have to be all seated with at least 35,000 capacity) if we're running short of English football grounds we got Cardiff and Twickenham as back up.

Terrible idea and amazed it actually got approved.
Mastercard obviously have the money to give the meals away so why not just give the meals anyway? Nope instead we're relying on 2 players (one who's been injured for 3 months) to have a good world cup in order for them to get food.
A keeper saving chances from them is basically denying starving kids some food.
Watched after it went 2-1. Germans throwing on the big guns to try to save a draw but offered nothing. Looked very ordinary. Didn't fancy them before, even less so now.

They always always always turn up at big tournaments tho.

Germany are notoriously poor in friendlies.
In their last 21 friendlies, they've won 6.
Means absolutely nothing, as they will of course be there or thereabouts come the latter stages of the world cup.
Kompany came off injured for Belgium yesterday. Requires a scan on his groin to see whether he can take part in this World Cup. Got to feel sorry for him as he is a class defender but is made of glass. Could be a good thing for England personally if he doesn't make it.

Might actually be a blessing in disguise. Instead of trying to shoehorn 3 centre backs into the lineup, Martinez could just revert to playing the Spurs pair of Vertonghen and Alderweireld
