Tremendous, though I hope it hampers his sprint finishes.1

Looks like Cav will make it within the cut off today2
-
He's in a Group of about 22-riders so cant even see him being thrown out even if they arrive outside the limitGary Poole said:Looks like Cav will make it within the cut off today1 -
Good to see from Cavendish this afternoon

The problem is that reinstatement from outside the limit means loss of all accrued points.ForeverAddickted said:

Will be a shame as he stands a great chance of winning it but the Green Jersey will be a bonus this Tour for mestonemuse said:

Cav is starting to become a bit of a French hero. Getting similar vibes about Alaphilippe with us Brits.7
-
I imagine it wasnt just Cavendish from the British contingent that did this as wellstonemuse said:

Cavendish made the time cut... Seven minutes to spare
Love how he has about four Quick-Step team mates to support him, a team only goes with eight riders

Cav saving it for tomorrow, letting Alaphillipe give it a go2

Probably needs a rest after yesterdaystonemuse said:Cav saving it for tomorrow, letting Alaphillipe give it a go3 -
Hadn’t realised that Luke Rowe missed the cut yesterday.1
-
That is a shame, he has done so much for other British riders careers. On the plus side Chris Froome must be thinking he’s got a great chance now in the lantern rouge competition.stonemuse said:Hadn’t realised that Luke Rowe missed the cut yesterday.3 -

Geraint Thomas.... Thought he did in the 2007 Tour but just checked and the Lanterne Rouge expert Wim Vansevenant just pipped him.0
-
Vansevenant was a Lanterne Rouge specialist, I think he won it three times, good work by Thomas to get close to him.

What a crash, I don't think too many teams will be unscathed.0
-
DSM had a lot of riders in that, I hope Mark Donovan is ok0
-
That was a strange crash for such a stage0
-
Thomas seemed to have got himself in the crash too,are him and Ritchie Port on bonus’ for falling off their bikes?1
