Lapslie has impressed in the opening 15 minutes

His first few touches of the ball impressed me against Blackpool last season yet then nerves seemed to get to him

Definitely a kid who can play if utilised properly

Is this a full strength Norwich team?

Looking at their team id say no as Jordan Rhodes is one not involved.. Whilst Ben Marshall is only on the bench (from their new signings)

That's the strong team Bowyer said he was going to play against Norwich. He is vastly becoming as deluded as all the previous Roland arse licker managers.

Although to be fair, when Bowyer said that, he probably thought he'd be able to play Magennis and Taylor.
That doesn't make Bowyer an "arse licker".

Apart from upfront, the starting line up is decent, plus the experienced Pratley on the bench.
Apart from telling us all how his met with Roland and gets on well with him and that he is gonna get in 4 players and is not fussed if 5 are sold etc. Same old shit Bowyer is spouting is the same as they all have.
He was lying to you Bowyer!

F**k me the old guy sat next to me is soo sexist.

Made at least 5/6 comments about the 4th official being a women and not knowing what she is doing

You should ask him to explain what the 4th officials responsibilities are.

28' More fantastic passing football on show before Forster-Caskey fires wide from 25 yards. #cafc

City have received welcome news following the results of striker Jordan Rhodes’ scan on his ankle.

Rhodes had to be substituted after picking up an ankle injury during Wednesday night’s 3-1 win at Luton, but now looks set to remain in contention for the start of the Canaries’ Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Head Coach Daniel Farke commented: “It’s some good news with Jordan as the scan has confirmed only a minor ligament injury in his ankle.

“He will miss the game against Charlton on Saturday but should be ok to join training next week and hopefully be available for the Birmingham game.”

About time we turned on Bowyer, what has he ever done for us?
That line up is a protest !!!

Charlton have provided a good test for City so far and have had the better of the last ten minutes. #ncfc

32' Chance! Great play (again!) as Hackett-Fairchild plays a nice ball out wide to Marshall, who sends in a cross. Lapslie is second favourite but wins his header which is just over thebar. #cafc

A sweeping City move is finished brilliantly by Hernandez but the linesman's flag is up for offside! #ncfc

As teams found out in the World Cup, if you do not score when you are on top, you can easily lose the game

We have definetly been on top this 1st half

Still 0-0 at The Valley as we approach half-time, but it's been a very impressive first half so far for the Addicks... #cafc

40' Chance! Grant flicks on Page's left-wing cross and JFC meets it with a volley, but Krul gets right behind it. #cafc

The ball is sprayed wide to McLean who nods to Pukki. He runs into the box but shoots over from a good position. #ncfc

    HALF-TIME | Charlton 0-0 City

Charlton have arguably had the better of the first-half but we're goalless at the break. #ncfc

    What's that based on?

Encouraging first half performance i thought. Put taylor and fosu in the mix and they would have torn Norwich a new one

Sounded like we played well despite the disgraceful line up ;-)

A few snaps of the new home kit in action as the Addicks put in an impressive shift during the first-half in SE7... #cafc
