I love Christmas. I don't believe in the all loving sky god that allows bone cancer in children or famine or many other great injustices...
It's all about me buying nice things with my hard earned money to give to those amazing friends and family that I am grateful to still have around me... for 1-2 days at least.
I won't even start on things I'd like to ban in Thailand!
My pet hate is going to a gig and you're behind someone insisting on filming the whole bloody thing on a mobile phone! Concerts cost a fortune these days; enjoy the moment. It's a practice that theoretically is banned. What's just as bad is the texting and even calling going on during a performance.
So I say ban mobile phones from live music venues, theatres, cinemas and other live entertainment places.
Hadn't really come across this til tonight. What was worse was the bloke filming was talking to his mate very loudly all the way through the songs, only stopping to go ballistic - whooping and clapping after each song - he hadn't even listened! Would have totally enraged me if it was someone good but it was Baxter Dury who was utterly shite
