Karlan Grant moves to Huddersfield

Funnily there is no reason why Karlan cant force his way into the England U21 squad if he impresses enough
Wouldnt be a bad rise from playing League One Football to the U21 Euros this summer1 -
And Mounie wins it for HuddersfieldForeverAddickted said:
At the moment we should be worried about them taking Taylor too in the summerExiled_Addick said:
Must be some mistake... after all, Grant is a bang average League One striker who was being made to look good by Lyle Taylor.ForeverAddickted said:The view from the BBC covering the game...Karlan Grant is having an excellent game for Huddersfield.
The 21-year-old spent the first half of the season in League One with Charlton, joining the Terriers during the January transfer window.
It's the likes of Grant who give Huddersfield hope for the future.
Grant's issue at the moment is the ball isnt falling to him
Mounie is terrible just had a chance similar to Karlan's against Sunderland at the Valley yet headed wide... Shocking when you consider he cost £11m1 -

How many has he scored ?ForeverAddickted said:

There's more to Karlan's game than just goals.Covered End said:

Oh and he's scored one less than Mounie for Huddersfield this season despite having barely played in the Premier League0 -
Just 6 goals all season, apparently, at home for Huddersfield. Six!. You have to feel for the fans watching that.Expect maybe that irritating twerp who used to come on here.Edit - just scored their 7th as was hitting 'post'.2
-
Sounds like he didn't score

Karlan was actually unlucky not to score that himself
'keeper just about deflected the ball into Mounie's path0 -
Nope but was the reason they didCovered End said:Sounds like he didn't score

Why so many Grant haters? Did nothing but try his best while he played for us despite the fans not always being behind him. And if we do somehow get promotion this season, he will be a large reason for it16
-
There we go, proof he's a limited player with no skill who can't score without Lyle putting it on a plate for him.3
-

Nice to see Karlan's name appearing there.
One goal and one assist for him in his three (?) appearances in the First Division.1 -
Wow I know they're all but relegated but Huddersfield are only being shown twice on TV between now and the end of April
They're the Charlton Athletic of the Premier League in that bloody regard0 -
If they'd stayed at their old ground they'd be on TV more often, even if they weren't playing.ForeverAddickted said:Wow I know they're all but relegated but Huddersfield are only being shown twice on TV between now and the end of April

Sky will show anything with "Leeds" in the name ...1 -

Yup another great piece of business from Roland going by those tweets...
As I said at the time... £1.5m even for an out of contract player; Roland you've been bloody robbed and buggered from behind by Huddersfield there!!4 -
We got to see a premier league star of the present.5
-
Whilst still being gutted he left before end of this season, it’s great for Grant, already a goal and an assist under his belt in the premier league. Outstanding!

For the record I like Grant and am disappointed we let him go.JoshAddick said:Why so many Grant haters? Did nothing but try his best while he played for us despite the fans not always being behind him. And if we do somehow get promotion this season, he will be a large reason for it
I just felt it was an exaggeration to say Grant has done more in one game, than their strike force has managed between them in 28 games.
Ok, I'm taking it too literal, but it patently is not possible, that Grant achieved more in one game, than all the other strikers combined have in 28 games. For example another striker scored tonight and he didn't. Case closed

I think some people on here should realise why we haven’t been scoring that many goals recently.4

On that basis its difficult to say that Lyle Taylor has done better for us in the League than Karlan did this season then as lot have claimed?Covered End said:

Fluffed his lines in the last minute to put it on a plate for Mournie
Ok I am taking it too literal ——- I had him 14/1 for 1st goalscorer 😩4 -

It's an exaggeration I agree. But the nonsense that "Taylor put all of Grant's goals on a plate", "he's not that good", "take the money, we can easily replace him" still annoys me far more than a comment from an excited Huddersfield fan.Covered End said:
