Clever gamble, albeit with relatively limited exposure, from SA to open with Tahir

    Did you get in @suzisausage

This is nothing more than the Charlton technique... Lull the opposition into a false sense of security.

Last ball of the game will now be us castling the last man for a one run win :)

Looks a glorious day for the cricket. Jealous of everyone there. Half term... Got the girl next door playing with my kids, not seen any of them for ages, got a cuppa, and sitting back for the long haul (until I'm dragged to the park later)

Easy paced pitch, nice weather, should be plenty of runs

Roy out for 54 after sending the last ball down the ground for 4. Decent enough start but was hoping he'd go up a gear

We’ve never really looked comfortable out there. SA bowing pretty well

Need 325 minimum here really, think we are going to be 20/30 short

How Moeen gets in potentially our strongest ODI side ever is a mystery to me.

We've made a right mess of this. Struggling towards 300 after being 217-3 with 13 overs left.

We will need to bowl them out to win.
South Africa have bowled so well to their field.
    Game on.

Well bowled by the South Africans. Reckon we’ve got a nail biter on our hands.

Not as easy to bat on as the usual Oval pitch

Would agree with that assessment with regards to his batting, but I think he is very consistent with the ball

What happens here CE, do they bring on a sub to replace or can he come back later down the order?
