My Derby mate hasn't been impressed. For £10m they are expecting the finished article, which he isn't. Excellent player but Derby have massively over paid.

He's played centre mid too (v us twice). I quite like him at centre back. Thought he did well there for us.

I believe I read that they paid £7m (probably in instalments, common practice).
The rest is add-ons that could eventually rise to £10m.
