  • Thank ¥uck for that!

Really had convinced myself we were going to lose him, we deserve an explanation.

Does anyone know what QPR fans thought to him? Didn’t score many there but the fact he played 33 matches suggests he was valued.
QPR were bottom or near bottom at the start of last season & MacLaren looked odds on for the sack.
They signed Hemed & Nakhi Wells just before the window closed (23rd Aug) and soon climbed up the league towards half way.

I believe he had a hernia later in the season and QPR slid back down the table.

37 goals in 94 Championship appearances. Quality signing. Will be starting up top with Lyle in no time.

We almost have too many options now! Unbelievable recruitment by Bow and Gallen.
  • Big credit has to go to Brighton too as i assume they must have paid something towards Hemed's wages in a pay off, plus also helping out with Kayal.

No way either of those two are only earning our (alleged) 5-6k a week wage limit.

A brilliant window from Bowyer and Gallen.

A stupendous one, by his standards, from Roland! Maybe Bowyer knew just how to butter him up, maybe he's serious about making it work on a shoestring. But a (weird) penny seems to have dropped (for now). Well done CARD as well, I think that was a big part of this
  • We are gonna  RIP this league to bits now...nailed on for a 15 finish..hopefully.
  • I'm sorry, he's shit!

He runs when he takes penalties...
  • Like his penalties, really cool customer.

At last things are beginning to happen. The EFL have put together a panel to deal with this dispute.

Great move EFL, credit where credit is due. Everything has happened since these big hitters took over from this useless wanker...

    Indeed, Callum.

Bow & Gallen should from henceforth be known as The Mounties.

    ( Need a clue ?)

Hemed, Taylor and Aneke is a defenders nightmare.

Very pleased it's done but still wonder what the hold up was. Oh, well, it doesn't really matter now.

Great news but it's inexcusable from EFL as to why it's taken 11 days post transfer window to close to accept it
    They should cover his wages
    They should buy the club.

Highlights reel seems to suggest he is a goal box finisher . Nothing spectacular but gets the ball into the back of the net. Does that sum him up?
  • Fantastic news as we go into a week with 2 games at Fortress Valley.

    Tinglicious !!!

A reminder of what I was told after we Kayal signed, I'm looking forward to seeing them both play.

Brighton FM researcher on Kayal and Hemed:

They’re like best friends, funny how they keep ending up at same club

Hemed was good for us in Championship, works hard, links play well, very good at pens and heading. Started well in Prem too until he got retrospective ban and lost his place in team

Kayal is a tenacious midfielder, originally he was more of a ball winning mid for us who really got about and put in strong tackles. More recently Hughton seemed to use him as a sub AMC which he was ok at but not really his game. He should be good as he’s not someone we’d see as a weak link tbh no one was really expecting him to leave altho he’s not first choice so not a total shock

    Both Israel internationals

And weirdly for a centre midfielder and striker had a bit of a connection as a pair

Hemed’s not quick, he’s strong, good in the air, but not really a target man he does well dropping in and linking things more as a 10. He worked really well with Sam Baldock for us

He’s one of those who if you don’t see the end product fans might think what does he offer but he’s got good movement and sniffs out goals

Yeah but I don’t get that. If his contract hadn’t been cancelled by deadline then he couldn’t be signed after until January.

It had though. Brighton always said that the paperwork from their side was done in good time and it was left to us.

Glad he's finally signed. Looks like the process has really taken it's toll on him.

    Is that Castro?
