I know there was a clamour before the last home game to do something but I think it would be great if we had an opportunity to thank Steve Gallen for his extraordinary work.
Oztumer had quit his club and was therefore without contract and I believe he was allowed to leave because of breach of contract.
Hemed was released from his contract and all paperwork signed and sent to the EFL before the deadline. Close to but before.
Yes we know all that, but other clubs will still think it unfair and will work out that the EFL do in fact have a controlling interest in the club after Rolly told them they had to.

Isn't it that the EFL did nothing, were doing nothing, so Brighton have agreed a release, making him a free agent ... therefor he can be signed outside the window?

The rules say that for a free agent to be signed outside the window the player must be a free agent before the window closes. Thats what people are now struggling with.
I wonder if fans of other clubs in the Championship are thinking
"Hang on, the window has closed but that's the second player Charlton have signed. First Otzumer and now Hemed, how is that fair?"
Personally, I don't give a shit what they think.
I don't know these players but am getting caught up with other Charlton fans enthusiastic comments. I look forward to their performances in a Charlton shirt.
Maybe @Henry Irving can work some magic and try to arrange another great Q&A at Bromley Addicks. Would be fantastic to have both Bowyer and Gallen in one night. I’m sure many would be interested, myself included.
welcome TH may our time together be fruitful. You don’t have any idea what justification FA or EFL have for dicking you around this long I suppose? Never mind onwards and upwards COYR
Now we’ve got all the deals over the line be good to see that EFL NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE banner at games again specially televised matches. They’re not off the hook with their complicity in roly’s persistent malfeasance
Really interesting. I imagine he arrived at the same time as Kayal (probably in the same car!), took their photos at the same session but his transfer was the one which hit a snag.

Was there anything stopping him from training with us during the past 11 days?

I wouldnt think so... only thing that makes me doubt it happened is the fact that Bowyer said a few times that Hemed was constantly texting and calling Steve Gallen for an update on the transfer
If he was training at Sparrows Lane he surely could have spoken to him in person for an update etc.?

I think I heard he just had a baby - I assume that if that wasn't the case he would have been training

He continued to train with Brighton in that time in case the deal fell through and he would have then stayed there, before presumably being sold to Cadiz or somewhere else
Someone with more time and ability on their hands than me, should collate all the shirty/scarfy photos of new signings and put them in side by side like this photo reel, I want to fawn and swoon over all our lovely new signings ( only fawn and swoon. No ejacula)

Just waiting for @Tracey to confirm dates in October but with all these signings she may have been a little busy of late.
Attendance will be limited to fans who haven't slagged off the Museum, the fans forum or previous arrangements at Bromley Addicks meetings : - )
Look forward to when it happens, thanks.
Its Kayal who is about a month away from fitness
