It does not make sense. So he had to cancel his contract with Brighton. (This was AFTER the deadline 11 days ago.). I don't get it. However Charlton were buying him for £600,000. Looks like EFL and FA fucked up, lost paperwork, were on the backfoot, cocked up big time and just allowed this theough.

Why doesn't it make sense?
The 2 clubs agreed a transfer late on deadline day. Brighton agreed his pay off and completed their part of the paperwork before the deadline and we went right to the wire in completing our part of it.
EFL have finally after 11 days (when it surely could've taken 1 hour) accepted it was done in time and the transfer is allowed to go through.
Genuinely say I don’t know anything about Tomer. Can one of our assessors, not @ForeverAddickted ;0) give me a clue to what type of player we’ve signed please
Mental window... Messaged my old man 3 days before window closed saying "We are going down with record low points tally"... 4 days later I backed us for promotion!
Absolutely fantastic news! Could be a key player for us in the months to come. We now have the strongest squad since God knows how long. After so much doubt about even being able to stay up just a few weeks ago, things are looking so promising now.

Don't know where you heard we were paying that sort of fee, but I've been told that it's similar to the Williams initial deal - BHA helping out with the remainder of the contract basically as a favour to him. £600k would surprise me massively for a player on a one-year deal.
I cant quite get my head round how how our squad looks now, I had big fears for the season ahead, this is great news, a genuine strike partner for Lyle, welcome Tomer.
Finally we get the transfer completed with Hemed and kayal reunited at Cafc. Gives our Championship side some serious gravitas with their experience to go with the young guns Gallagher, Cullen, Field and Leko. Potentially our best window ever with Dijksteel being sacrificed to raise a couple of million.
Most of us feared the worse a week before Scott Parker day But the skilled genius that is Steve Gallen makes two loaves and five fishes go a long way.
Very happy he's finally signed. However, I'm a bit torn on the whole delay thing...
On the one hand, I want to say: "Phew, we got him, now let's forget about the saga with the FA/EFL, we got 7 points from our first 3 games, so no harm done."
On the other hand, I'm thinking: "So what was the bloody hold up? What was happening? Whose fault was it? I want answers!"
Should we be seeking answers or should we just, as is often suggested on here, 'move on'?
Afraid not, surely you recognise that terracing. You needed to be there of course and I assume you weren't
Whoosh!
Not even close. My response was sarcasm like yours and the winky smiley emoji was a bit of clue, so the Whoosh is now on you! Time to up your game Stan if you wanna be the funny man 😉.

It's a miracle.
