Let them (along with every other set of supporters) completely underestimate us....apparently now we are riding the crest of the promotion wave....I cant understand with the turnaround in personnel we have had how this is possible!

Bring on tomorrow night! We have nothing to fear!
Completely agree. I don’t think supporters of other clubs realise the difference in the squad.
Our team that started at Wembley was: Phillips, Dijksteel, Bauer, Sarr, Purrington, Bielik, Cullen, Pratley, Aribo, Taylor, Parker.
5 of them aren’t at the club anymore, Sarr hasn’t played since the opening day, meaning only Phillips, Purrington, Cullen, Pratley, Taylor have been involved the majority of the season - Cullen only missing Blackburn away.
We have signed 14 player this summer, 3 of them were with us last season. Therefore, we have essentially signed a whole new team.
69% of Forest fans are confident of a win on their fans site. They also like Sages’s write up!
Thanks, but who and where does it say they like my preview?
Understandably they’re confident after their result on Saturday. However, our home form in the league is excellent and many clubs don’t really know how Bowyer gets us playing.
'Charlton are shit but on form' 'punching well above their weight currently' 'They're hardly Barcelona. Let's go and smash them' 'they will see Forest trotting out and think "Oh shit, we're in for a dicking here tonight". Their heads will go down and Forest will be imperious.' 'Charlton to not even get a shot on goal'.
Our diamond formation is vulnerable to attacking wide play, especially when opposition full backs are attaching in style. There were several times when we were overloaded at Barnsley down the flanks and Gallagher in particular did not track the full back. Forest are strong down the flanks and a strong aerial side, something we are not. Having played a mid tier side, one in transition and fellow upwardly mobile travellers this could be our first clear reminder of the financial chasm between us and many of the other sides. 0-2 to Forest.
I do see an alternative set up whereby we do occasionally swop Gallagher for a more tenacious and box to box midfielder. Despite his obvious skill and importance in the games so far, it would be good to swop things around and give a likes of Kayal a game. Maybe this will happen gradually through substitutions.
"Am I correct in thinking that Charlton also sing Mull of Kintyre claiming it's a song they sung well before us that we pinched off them as an anthem?"
"Charlton and Nottingham Forest have met 36 times before and very little separating the two sides as both sides have won 14 times each and played out 14 draws."
Maybe arithmetic is not my strong point ..... but how does that work?
Reading their forum though, they do seem VERY confident. 1 guy even said we won't get a shot on goal and it'll finish 0-3.
34 votes on there so far and not a single one has gone with a Charlton win.
Good, I hope every team looks at us like that in the first fixture.. all it does is play into our hands as on paper we have one of the best midfields in the league and one of the best strikers. Might ship a few goals in against us but we are always going to score goals.

They'll be claiming royalties next
"A few of them probably getting a bit carried away with a couple of early wins but they've got momentum and confidence so who can blame them.
Their fans seem like one of the more knowledgeable lot in relation to other teams and the way they set up."
