I am away at the moment. Has there been a management decision to shift mid week games to Wednesdays or is this a one off?
    Live TV game.

Its to even it out fairly - We've currently got ten midweek games in total

Five of them will be on a Tuesday night | Five of them will be on a Wednesday night

I know your joking but read somewhere that SKY have to show at least two home games on TV per Championship team

So people should expect at least two games at the Valley to be moved for the cameras

(I dont think that the midweek games count towards those two fixtures being shown)

After tonight's matches Charlton are out of the automatic promotion places. Not good enough. Bowyer better pull his finger out. Sir Chris Powell is still available (as far as I know).

Nope... SKY games have already been announced for that weekend

Friday: Stoke v Nottingham Forest | Saturday: QPR v West Brom | Sunday: Barnsley v Brentford

Are the games over that weekend

I wouldnt be surprised if the Millwall game in April gets picked as one

Leeds away should be on tv, probably be a title decider.

Barnsley v Brentford is a real "contractual obligation" game, get two of the unattractive teams out of the way in one match!

Charlton vs Leeds would have made some sense for a TV game because of the Bowyer factor actually...

If we can hold them in the first half we'll sneak a 1 - 0 win.

Nah we'll have the title sealed well before then!!

Going 1-2 here - our first time up against a team who have stuck a few goals past their opponents. Would absolutely take a point on our long march towards the playoffs.

This will be the toughest game so far imo, and I take nothing away from Barnsley’s efforts on Sat.  Forest, like Leeds, are one of these clubs that really have so much potential given their history and size.  Granted, given how open and competitive the Championship is, it hasn’t led to them getting back in the Prem as yet, and I may be wrong, but I think it’s been a few seasons now since they’ve genuinely been in the promotion mix.

I watched the Derby Bristol City game last night, and I think anyone can beat anyone in this league.

We’ve surprised Blackburn and Stoke, no reason why we can’t surprise Forest.  Equally, we could get beat something like 3-0.

Always confident under Bowyer, and we’ve got a decent home record to protect, so will say 2-0 to us, but wouldn’t be surprised if Forest get the 3pts

A few seasons back, didn't we have less than two, along with another side? They still paid us the TV money but we were only on once?

    I may be imagining this...

Don’t know how to call this one. We need to be careful that we don’t grow into the “punching above our weight” tag. From what I’ve seen so far we don’t have much to fear and our first eleven will get stronger once Lee knows what his first choices are. We should be approaching games with confidence. That said, we have a glaring weakness at right back which will also have a impact on Leko/whoever needs to be tracking back to cover. This is one of the games I have been looking forward to. Another “proper” club who have been working their way back from the doldrums.

Let's ride our unbeaten wave ...I 'll go for a 1- 0 win to us ..Taylor pen in the dying moments..then the forest fans can complain they were robbed and the rest of the division can still think we are a flash in the pan .

We always score at least two this season, at least in the league.

All those expecting a loss therefore expect us to concede at least three.

I have a feeling both teams will be up for it with an open game. 2-2, not the worst result as on paper they look pretty strong

    Taylor scores

  • Vaguely remember in 1998 we were top after two games and went to Forest midweek.

Our bubble was well and truly burst by a four nil defeat.

It was down hill from there and we were relegated.

So on that and Forest's ability to score goals our first defeat in the league this season beckons.

    0 - 2

'Bring back Sarr, drop Pratley" posted before the team leave the pitch.
That was Manchester United (lost 4-1 after Kinsella gave us the lead); Forest we beat 1-0 at their place
I think I remember us going to there ground and getting thumped 5-2, a hatrick from Pierre Van Crap Doink!

Due to being at the match, I have tried to blot this memory from my brain.  It was a bad day!!!
