I keep proudly telling anyone who will listen that Bow is an Eltham boy, so I wonder whether SE9 can lay claim. Whaddya reckon? For some reason I don't think it will be SE7. I only know one fan who lives there, albeit he is @Pico, chair of CAST

I expect that as usual @Airman Brown will have the best access to the facts...

I would have said SE9 as well. Eltham seems to be where the majority of the traffic goes after games. Similarly to you, I'm not sure I've ever met a Charlton fan from Charlton. See a lot of Charlton stickers on cars in SE9 too

It's unfortunate that not many people believe that to actually be the case.

I think it's likely that many of our fans maybe grew up around the area...became an addick, and then moved further away.

I was a kid that lived in plumsted...when I 1st got taken to games.

Welling, Bexleyheath, Eltham, Sidcup, Dartford, Gravesend.

Also a bit further off.

Typically the common kind of area to find a high amount of "our lot"

Born and raised in Greenwich/Charlton now SE9.
In the 60's and 70's people aspired to move out of Charlton now the trend has been reversed with all the new builds and transport links.

No he Definitely didn’t go to Eltham Green - I did And he would have been in the year above him.

lived in eltham most of my life, now sidcup - most i know who actually go to football are charlton or millwall fans - no surprises there - i think the areas stated above are about right although i think the 'lowlands' - woolwich, plumstead, belvedere, erith etc also factor highly
