The young man writes excellent articles on Charlton Athletic and should be congratulated on his efforts from his coverage on the academy players to the protests by Cafc Fans for Fans
Benjy's backstory described by Olly on the previous page (US journalism student coming over and immersing himself in the culture of a London club) makes it sound like he's living out a more wholesome version of Green Street!

He is a really nice fella, had the pleasure to meet him and have a good long chat at the screwfix protest.

It's a now-long-running gag on here about how many "t"s to include in Elliotttttt's surname. I don't know if it was an accidental typo or just Benjy taking things to a new level but in paragraph 14 we have:
Those within the club feel Chris Farnell and Paull Elliott underestimated Charlton’s fanbase, shocked to be greeted by supporter protests. A quick glance at the club’s history, however, would have shown them that Charlton fans have always been prepared to do whatever is necessary to save their club.
Always a pleasure reading his articles. Very much the modern day sports journalist, but with good insight, facts, research and always keeps the tone >neutral.
V good article on what I thought was the best performance on Tuesday, Fraser ran rings around Watson in the first meeting, Pratley had Fraser in his pocket all game.
I love me some Pratters as well, the amount of games last season where Bow would sub him prematurely and our performance would instantly go to shit. Millwall away comes to mind.
I believe he was originally employed to find out what cahones does all day, after a year of head scratching Benjy was reassigned to comms. Some of this may or may not be true!
I'll have to see if I can find the tweet where he explained it, but basically he is/was studying over here, and wrote around to a bunch of clubs asking to do an internship, and we were pretty much the only one that replied IIRC.

Is he based in the states? How did he get into Charlton?
I'm intrigued to know how someone with so much knowledge of our beloved club got the bug.
