I like benjy and have met him a few times, but as an unbiased journalist working for a club he can do/say things a club might not like, shame though as he does some great pieces because he is unbiased

Fair play to him, it's an industry where standing still is going backwards basically by default so he can't afford to turn chances down.

Does anyone have any knowledge if this is a normal route for journalists to take who want to reach the top? I imagine the ones at the big papers or the athletic have done similar but I don't know for sure.
