Interesting to compare the difference between vax rates and games called off due to covid cases in the Premier League v La Liga and Serie A etc -could all the postponements cause added complications re number of games played over a period or an extended season when next season is already impacted by the world cup?0

As Klopp said, he has got vaccinated to protect others even before protecting himself. Because of the extreme differences between symptoms, from none at all to killing you (even in cases where someone is young and healthy when no underlying medical conditions etc), many with no symptoms will have infected others - which is one of the many reasons I have been vaccinated (and wear a mask) as I want to reduce the risk of me passing it on to anyone else6 -

I use to be undecided but I’m not so sure now🤔… Let me first say that I had Covid when it first started doing the rounds and have since been tripled vaccinated 🤗. But I’m still leaning towards the support of those that don’t want to be vaccinated as to what the problem is🧐? I can still carry the virus even though I’ve been vaccinated and so can those that are not vaccinated. The only difference I believe is that should i contract the virus again it is very unlikely that it will result in my demise or hopefully not to have a long term issues. Those that don’t have the vaccine are at a higher risk of dying or suffering serious illnesses. Surely that is the choice of those people that don’t want the vaccine? And back to the original point, in that the tennis player doesn’t want the vaccine but wants to play in the tournament. Is he a higher risk of bringing the virus into Australia than the vaccinated players? What the dilemma is is that Australian Government has got their knickers in a twist by applying double standards and I totally support the uproar that the government will face from its citizens. 😤

I’m 100% pro-choice, especially when it comes to what people put into their body and totally agree with you re’ mainstream media; f**k me, I’ve been saying that since long before covid reached our shores.
I have taken up the covid vaccines, but I’m fairly sure I wasn’t vaccinated as a kid either.

If people refusing to get the vaccine had zero effect on the rest of us then I'd say crack on, but that's simply not the case.
The other issue is, that whilst those vaccinated can still carry the virus, they are far less likely to do so. The less people carrying the virus, the less risk to those who can't get vaccinated. Add to that the fact that the less virus circulating around the less chance of further mutations. The omicron variant seems mild, there is no reason to believe a future variant couldn't be worse.12 -

I don’t wknow where to start when I read a post like this.10% of the population unvaccinated. 60% of those in icu unvaccinated. That’s all you need to know really. If your daughter was to be seriously affected or get long covid, well good luck living with yourself.17 - Sponsored links:

I wonder if charlton lifers would mock all of these doctors I've linked below, including video interviews, some of which have PhDs in virology and research viruses at universities for a living...people including but not limited to - Dr Dolores Cahill - ''is an Irish research scientist specialising in immunology and oncology, and professor of Translational Science at the University College Dublin School of Medicine. She has been a science advisor for three national governments – Ireland, Sweden and Germany – and is the Vice Chair of the Scientific Committee of the Inovative Medicine Initiative.'' I guess some charlton lifers think shes a ''loony'' aswell.Or perhaps the ''swiss policy research'' study that shows covid has a 99.7% survival rate for the elderly, and that hospitalisations are in line with influenza figures. Of course these charlton lifers never cared about compulsory flu jabs and boosters before 2020, or flu jab passports, or lockdowns. One charlton fan here suggested that people ask their doctor ''what is in the vaccine?'' he was told by another charlton fan that he shouldn't be a secondary school teacher as his job because of this statement. Sad. You belong in communist China and you don't even see it.Anyone that questions anything is mocked and vilified. This sense of moral superiority some here carry is pathetic. None here have offered any real counter arguments, just fear, mockery and parrot what the media tells them. I have had my traditional vaccines, so I am not afraid of unvaccinated people with TB, polio, smallpox etc. I don't want people pushed out of areas of society for not having TB vaccines, I don't call the unvaccinated selfish or dangerous, because I know my vaccine works for the individual that takes it.The thing about TB, polio etc, is that they don't come from a coronavirus(common cold), and none of them have a 99.7% survival rate and none of them supposedly come from a virology warfare lab/bat soup in Wuhan. None of you are at all annoyed that your taxes are spent on developing viruses as weapons right here in the UK.None of those illnesses required daily television propaganda, the daily counting of the dubious 'positive tests' that show positive results from ''apple juice'' being poured onto them, and constant guilt tripping and with scary upclose imagery of people in breathing masks. There was TB outbreak at my school, booster shots were offered but no one cared if you didn't have the vaccine because it was your choice, there were no facemasks required. Small/independant businesses are being destroyed and a massive wealth transfer is undergo, big problems with mental health, people can't get treatment for chronic illnesses, but some here think I'm the dangerous one. It is the unquestioning, compliant, and mocking fools that are the dangerous ones, as China literally becomes the new world superpower and your leaders sell you out, just as they are selling your NHS to the USA, just as your top universities would collapse without CCP funding.I bet these Charlton lifers actually think Boris Johnson writes his own speeches. The elites of this country are all known to support population reduction. But im the dangerous one, for suggesting manipulation is at play, and pointing you to an element of the british army that is specifically for the task of trolling you online.''10 Experts criticising the coronavirus panic''''another 10 experts questions the coronavirus panic''''Covid a collision of historical and scientific illiteracy''''The covid narrative is insane and illogical and maybe thats no accident''''Initial estimates based on Chinese data assumed a very high 20% hospitalization rate, which led to the strategy of ‘flattening the curve’ to avoid overburdening hospitals. However, population-based antibody studies (see above) have since shown that actual hospitalization rates are closer to 2%, which is comparable to hospitalization rates for influenza (1 to 2%).''''politician claims that british army 77th brigade are attacking scots online.''none of my information comes from facebook or youtube before you try that old chestnut.

Dolores Cahill, you say... https://www.mcgill.ca/oss/article/covid-19-health/strange-case-dr-cahill-and-ms-hyde
"She has said, falsely, that COVID-19 can be prevented by taking vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc, and that the most efficient treatment is in the form of hydroxychloroquine, a cheap medication against malaria and autoimmune diseases that turned into an object of worship for some individuals, even as the evidence clearly showed it did not work against COVID-19."
"She has boldly stated that children wearing a mask—the kind that doctors, nurses and dentists have been wearing for decades—would be starved of oxygen and see their IQ lowered. As for the RNA-based vaccines, she falsely claimed they did more harm than good."
"Bolstered by Cahill’s academic and scientific credentials, her misinformed and hazardous claims have grown to the point where students at her university wrote a 33-page scientific rebuttal of these claims, a document that was signed by 133 students from the university’s own School of Medicine and sent to its administrators. One of the claims these students had to debunk: that once you get COVID-19, you are immune for life. This brazen assertion’s confidence is in contradiction with actual knowledge in the field, which is that we do not clearly know how long immunity does last. But this is the upside-down world at University College Dublin right now, where students are teaching their own professor basic facts about a topic she should be familiar with."
"And finally, Cahill’s claims can be put to the test of time. Have her apocalyptic predictions come true? In late December 2020, Cahill claimed in a filmed discussion that, regarding the COVID-19 vaccines being rolled out in the UK, “most of the elderly, most of those people will have serious adverse events or will die in the next few months.” That has not happened. Elderly people were vaccinated first in many countries and they did not suddenly fill up hospitals’ intensive care units after receiving the jab, or swiftly drop like flies. In fact, the people dying of COVID now are almost exclusively the unvaccinated."15 -

Seems a bit dramatic. He's unvaccinated, he's not a criminal. Do they expect him to use his phone to plan an escape in the middle of the night?0 -
hoof_it_up_to_benty said:FrankyCAFC said:So many brainwashed pharmaceutical industry boot lickers on charlton life, genuinely scary. Some won't be happy until the unvaccinated are completely banned from public life, and they're proud of their fear, they feel righteous that they listened to big daddy government which has always cared for their health and never lied. People keep bringing up mumps, measels, smallpox etc, but those traditional vaccines are a completely different technology, few people are against those vaccines, they have nothing in common with the covid vaccines, stop conflating them, it is a lazy argument, and they are completely different diseases that definitely always have symptoms and don't mimick a standard cold virus or ''no symptoms at all.''If anyone dares to suggest you are being manipulated by the government/media, you are labelled an ''anti-vaxxer.'' A phrase they learnt from the media, a phrase they never used before 2020. Repeated phrases like ''trust the science'' have scrambled their free thought. Sad. They were first manipulated by watching the media and being told to clap for the NHS. This was the start of the manipulation into ''group think.'' Basic psychology tricks, militarised ''simon says'' games against the british public.''UK foreign secretary Dominic Raab paid a lengthy tribute to the “amazing work” of the British army during the coronavirus pandemic. His praise was likely well-received by the individual standing two metres to his left – General Nick Carter, the UK’s most senior military officer, who appeared at the briefing for the first time.''''In a speech afterwards, General Carter outlined various ways in which the military was supporting the government and, crucially, noted that the highly secretive 77th Brigade was “helping to quash rumours from misinformation, but also counter disinformation'' - Research Brigade 77 - The British Army is being used on your mind.. do you have any idea of the psychology tricks they know about?Who remembers the first footage shown in China, December 2019/January 2020? Of people catching the virus? It showed CCTV footage of people falling flat on their faces exactly like a plank of wood. They would be out in public, and would just fall on their faces, like a slapstick comedy, there just so happened to be medical people stood near by to carry them off. Notice how after the fear was spread, that symptom never happened ever again, in any other country, and the footage from china stopped? CCP would definitely never use actors to instill fear into it's population would it? The footage is still on youtube, but you need to confirm your ID in order to watch it now, funny that.Of course it's even harder to convince British people that our own government uses ''crisis actors'' - actors for doctors and nurses, actors for the sick, actors for the police. Too much of a conspiracy for some. Understandable.Isn't it strange how when Wuhan China was on lockdown, people getting welded/sealed into their homes, which I'm sure many charlton fans agree with for the unvaccinated, you had the Chinese lady in Wuhan shout from her balcony ''its all fake.'' footage still on youtube. Again no one questions it anymore.0

Presumably the precautions are not because he is simply unvaccinated, but because he lied on his visa application, which is taken pretty seriously by most countries.5
