They supported Sabbath on their 10th Anniversary tour and saw them on the Friday night at Lewisham Theatre and opened with this. Was so impressed I went out and bought their album on the Saturday and knew all the tracks by the time the opened up at Hammersmith Odeon on the same day.
Two consecutive days of Sabbath & Van Halen. Think my hearing came back properly four days later. Rock gigs are too quiet nowadays.

Was there for the Hammersmith gig. Think they just quiet as we are going deaf, can't think why!
Tow of us from school got tickets for the Hammersmith Odeon gig and loads of friends were pissed that we got hold of Sabbath tickets as they were like gold dust.
Sabbath then announced another gig the night before in Lewisham and half the school seemed to get tickets for that - so we had to go.
Nothing funnier than David Lee Roth shouting "Lewisham - the Rock 'n' Roll capital of the World"
Astradyne - Ultravox. Technically not a debut album as they had three previously with John Foxx as frontman, but they changed direction with Midge Ure.
