    There are perhaps 2 shows worth listening to on Talkshite, Danny Kelly being one of them, but even these are ruined by the constant adverts.
    JW and Durham/Gough are the worst offenders.

    To be honest all of this shows why fans should work together under the auspices of CARD/CAST. Lone wolfing it doesn’t produce great results and that β€œinterview” on the JW show is a case in point.

    I think if someone who has a grip on what is going on could articulate a summary and send it to Simon Jordan he would be an unlikely ally.

    I follow this thread daily and still get lost as a diehard Charlton supporter.Β  It's unrealistic to expect the likes of Jim White et al to be all over this like Dispatches to quote @golfaddick .Β  They don't have the commercial motivation to do so as it is tabloid radio.Β 

    However Simon Jordan has a bit about him.Β  Β Was never a fan but he grew on me when I read his autobiography and he has been around the block and seems to have matured a bit.Β  He was the good guy in the whole Dowie incident regardless of how we might want to spin it given our allegiance...the club and those involved in that didn't cover themselves in grace or with their subsequent relegation....whilst it is acceptable and encouraged to revere in relegating rivals as fans; at board level perhaps a bit more class could have been maintained.

    Jordan even says at the outset of the interview the disdain he holds is for our former ownership not the fanbase.

    He has done more to publicly speak out for Charlton and its fans and admonish treacherous owners in recent years than supposed Charlton people like his former nemesis Murray.


    I think if someone could get a concise and clear summary of what has gone on/ is going on and our concerns and allow him to digest it he would get a better grasp of the situation and be better informed.

    White, Jordan and Talksport are not the enemy here but have very different motivations than us and won't have the time and resources to do the requisite digging (or risk legal challenge) so it pretty much needs to be legally watertight and put on a plate for them to avoid any confusion and really emphasise our concerns.

    I agree. I like Jordan of late, but I wouldn't trust him 100%.
    Like the others, he could see it as an opportunity to make some money.

    Well that went well.
    I get why some fans want to be more aggressively pro-active in exposing and pursuing the ownership shit show that is dragging the club down.
    But if I was privy to information that blow the lid on this shenanigans I would personally take it to CAST or Rick Everett for advice on how to best utilise the info
    This feels to me like the scattergun rantings of people on their own ego trip.

    The 'Golden Triangle' of Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury contains a very high percentage of 'shit don't stink' morons - I agree. Just a home for Mancs who can afford Range Rovers - but they're still Mancs!
    We avoided it like the plague when looking for houses and settled on south Cheshire - far more civilised (until we moved in!).
