  • Chaisty spent a lot of time talking about the levels of risk Mihail mentions. Kreamer argues that any risk to #cafc is enough. "Football clubs can cease to exist as a result..." #cafc #SaveCAFC

Kreamer: I don't think there is any evidence in the submitted bundle on Elliott's appeal.P

We need the wisdom of Solomon. Give them £0.50p
    Cancel that, he never paid.
  • It may be telling that ESI2 have not explained why they expect to win the EFL appeal. Surely if it was on a technicality that was easy to remedy, they would refer directly to what that was.
No its frustrating the EFL have stayed quiet as its helped them to avoid that issue

Wasnt that the explanation that farnell gave originally? Utter bulls**t
  • Now demolishing chaisty's nonsense about weeks.

Obviously EFL have never shared the technicality reason with fans as it's an existing appeal, but surely they would have needed to supply the reason to the court today.

Sounds like the court hearing has started with a Naby Sarr pass back to Dills.
You mean the error that Phillips held his hand up to ?

It was his foot he held up.

Oh ffs (in response to @Weegie Addick)
  • Into the last 5minutes.
Where's BFG when you need him.
  • Judge wants a trial :-(
    For real?
  • I agree. But it seems there is missing evidence that could have swung it and the EFL can be blamed for that. That and MM not identifying the risk. We need to tell him to F off after this.
  • Judge has bottled it then?
  • Surely Farnelliott will bottle a full on trial and are playing for a bigger settlement?
  • Kreamer: No matter how quickly matters progress, I invite the court to be realistic. There is nothing to suggest the timeline would be short enough to avoid risk to #cafc. #SaveCAFC

I think the injunction will be granted so that it can go to full trial.
    Definitely looking this way.

Elliott’s lawyer has been able to create enough doubt around the ownership to (in the judges mind) justify a trial.

Don’t think we’ve been able to show any imminent harm to the club/ESI should the injunction be granted and a full trial initiated.
  • Judge wants a trial :-(
    For real?
     Think so.
  • Judge reckons there is no immient takeover so doesn't matter about season starting soon

Yeah because this is all to let TS know who he should be dealing with surely

We need to pressure the EFL to stop farting about. If they fail the appeal that might prevent it going to trial. Can't see us winning this though.
  • How can he decide one thing one case and then come to another conclusion at another when nothing has changed?
I'm very confused how he can take that view.
  • Judge is saying trial in November isn't unreasonable......
  • Judge has bottled it then?
don't think so. just our main 'witness' as it were is a clown/chancer/lovely guy and should be kept on in some capacity

He has been shown up for what he is today.......'great' on social media but not so much when it matters
  • I can see this going to trial. Disaster for the club.
  • Why doesn't the judge know about TS sale? It might not be imminent but its far along to be of significance?
