Has Bowyer lost it?

  • Please not Jackson either.

We need a fresh start from what's gone on before. We need to modernise and breathe fresh air into the club.
We won’t get a “fresh start” from bringing in a manger who has been sacked half a dozen times before, either.
  • I think he should go , but I think TS will keep him to the end of the season.
  • I can’t see where any points are coming from now. The wheels have well and truly come off. Do we really want to endure this for the rest of the season.

Course we do. Might not be successfully but would be a fresh start.
  • Can’t wait to hear his excuses for the latest farce.
  • Are we still overacheiving? Asking for a friend
  • Well done you loyalists watching the last two games. I’ve stopped watching and it’s so much easier to take when you are not witnessing it.

Decison not to buy a centre mid or two with legs in Jan the biggest mistake. Whatever team he selects has to have a Watson or Pratley in. 2 players for every position? That’s not even half a player. By failing to address this clear weakness has cost him his job.

And just a reminder that Bowyer has a family. He may have done ok from football but his career is short. He may never get another management job after this. So asking him to resign is not an easy thing. Thanks for the good times,  Lee. Let’s just trust Thomas now. Bowyer is down. But he’s not a bad guy in this let’s remember. A limited manager and coach maybe but that’s it.
  • Maybe they should put the training on Valley Pass so we can see some football!

Then might as well get Jacko to end the season and give us time to find someone half decent. What good manager would you have now and if they are so good... why are they available?

Why does Bowyer's family have to be brought into it?
  • Have patience the run will start soon...

Because Jackson isn’t a fresh start, he’s been a major part. At risk of repeating myself, Paul Cook. How many times has he been sacked? Who said it has to be an unemployed available manager?
  • Winning throw ins is our only tactic.

    He doesn’t deserve this.
Well he could start at FT with a decision of where he wants us to be..

He's the one guy in a position to do something about it.

The rest of us mugs just have to watch and suffer.

My point is that asking someone to resign is not an easy personal decision. He’s a fighter and no doubt will want to carry on. But we can all see his time is well and truly up. In any other profession if you are underperforming you may get relieved of your duties but financially if you have a family to support(especially if you are unlikely to get another similar job) then resigning is not a simple option.  Realistically he won’t get another management job after this end.

I would hope that there is a meeting Monday morning where Lee is relied of his duties and thanked on the way out that’s all.
  • Managerial genius 4 subs, keeps on the worst player and on a booking, sent off 47 min, reminds me of that Mourinho Balotelli story

If he doesn't sack bowyer after today, I will no longer feel sorry for him.
It is blatantly obvious this is not changing until Bowyer goes, there's only one man that can do that.
  • Charlton put up with more dross and accept mediocrity more that most teams, but anyone at this point who is Bowyer in needs to get there head checked
  • I wouldn’t worry about our owner. He has thrived in the US where it’s pretty cutthroat. He will make the tough decisions if he feels it’s needed.
  • Euell please.

Cook. Interesting. Had not considered him.

    I know, I know.

Just a real shame that after years and years of battling for a good owner, we finally have one, and we have to put up with this in return.
  • It is obvious he has lost all authority, 2 reds.
  • This is a farce now

Yeah but the worst player did not pull out of a challenge. 😛
  • Discipline has gone. Another sign that the wheels have come off.
