    Do people actually, seriously, believe in luck? Like there’s some sort of supernatural force guiding things like that goal? It’s a nonsense of a concept that’s just used as a short hand to describe things that have a more complicated explanation. There is no such thing as “luck”.

    Might be the end for Mr Bowyer. This really shouldn’t be happening. You can blame it on bad luck at the other end, but the reality is we are conceding far too many goals, and simply don’t look like we have a way of scoring too many ourselves (despite having players that can).

    We hit the crossbar multiple times. But they take the lead through a speculative effort from 30 yards that takes a deflection and finds it’s way past the keeper through a ball hair width of space under bar. It is what it is.
