  • He has on a number of occasions this season and has seemingly got away with it. Why not again?
  • I’m full expecting some kind of statement on behalf of the players (Pearce?) after that barrage of shite Bowyer just threw at them.  It is now plainly obvious that he has totally lost the dressing room.

This isn’t going to end well is it?

Look, he hasn't lost the dressing room.  Incredible how people can even think it!

It's possible, Mutts - we come on to the pitch via the hospitality area so maybe he has lost the dressing room, or has forgotten where it is.

Said ot Tuesday, I really don't know why we cannot have our own dressing room, ffs it feels like we're the away team and not the home team.
Surely all the other teams get to keep their dressing room :(

    isnt that his job? Lol
Can do all he wants to make someone care

If you dont care about your job, can you say that anything your own Manager could do to change your mindset?
  • “Not pulling their weight, don’t care, cutting corners”.

    Wtf is going on?

    Fucking hell.
    Listening to Bowyer is embarrassing.
Now digging out Washington for not complaining about being out the side.
That wasn't what he said. He was saying that Washington's performance wasn't forcing him to put him back in the side.
No, he said he should be screaming at him to put him in.
In the context of the sentence, that was almost certainly a metaphor.
Well maybe. But you said he didn’t say that. So it is what he said then?
And even if it was metaphorical, he’s still digging out an individual.
No, you said "Now digging out Washington for not complaining about being out the side." That suggests he was complaining about Washington's attitude in training, not what he was doing on the pitch.
Ali, I don’t really want to argue with you. I think we’ve just interpreted what he said differently.
I took his comment to mean “He should be banging on my door complaining about being out of the side”
You took it to mean “He should be doing more to show his quality in training”
Either way, he clearly isn’t communicating properly because we can’t agree on what he said or meant!

Not a good Charlton team performance. Was that fella running about in black the twelfth Blackpool player? I feel sure he washed his white and orange shirt in the dark wash during the week.

I make bowyer right with most of his points.
Even if you agree, bowyer throwing the players under the bus isn’t going to get him a positive reaction is it?, if he feels he can’t do anything with them and make them better as he says, he may aswell walk and give someone else a go so’s not to damage his reputation.
The only way he would walk is if he is as loyal as some claim he is. I don't blame him for not walking given the amounts involved, but it isn't out of loyalty.
No,I was being a little bit flippant. I don’t expect him to walk and I’m not saying he doesn’t deserve a bit of a pay off. Like I’ve said before the proof of his loyalty would have always been if a better offer was there for him elsewhere. However I think he’s pissed on his own chips where that’s concerned.
  • All very depressing. God knows why, but I look forward to the matches, even though we’re so poor. Somehow keep expecting an improvement. Maybe a little luck too. No chance of course.
And the final dagger to the heart was Curbs saying 7th is the highest league placing in the club’s history.
Can’t take much more of this.

Ahhhhh, the real culprit, may as well own up

Them quotes are something else. Quite literally inexcusable. I don't think other than Fraeye a manager has deserved to be sacked more than this? Bad performances ok but the level of delusion and bitterness in those comments. I'm off the fence completely, he has to go, whether it's now or next season.

Let himself down big time and comes across as a desperate man, fast losing the respect I have for him.

Sack him before it gets ugly Sandman
  • There was one team on the pitch heading for the play offs. They weren't in red.

I don't think he actually did......

Also not true - Maddison and Mathews (maybe Bogle) were free agents but we paid fees for Gilbey and Washington and Innis was at Palace the other signings were all loans
Watson and Gunter, who he gushed over saying he wanted both of them last summer!!!!!

They are his players though - he signed most of them.
Does that mean they shouldn't care
Of course not. Every player should care, that’s is the bare minimum we should expect from a player. But they clearly don’t want to play for the manager.

And Matthews we had here last season and was training with us in pre-season before signing so it's not as if he was a deadline day act of desperation either.

But at the same time if he was as good as we all felt after last season, why was he still out of contract when we did finally get him?
