    I’d have maybe taken Cook over Bowyer.

    I’m struggling to think of other managers that I’d be 100% confident in.

    Eddie Howe is off the table because that’d never happen.

    Right now as we're showing unexpected signs of improvement? No I don't think that would be ideal. It wouldn't be on our terms, but would allow a new man to know what they want to keep, get rid of and add to this squad.

    - Hire Jackett, now a free agent, as the new Charlton manager
    - Giver Jackett the Bowyer compensation funds towards his transfer kitty
