After a tentative first half, Charlton came out rampant in the second extending quickly to a two nil lead. The third came not too long after. With the introduction of Chuks we went on the front foot. Albie Morgan looked very mobile, linking the midfield to the forward line effectively. Millar came into his own, pressing forward on the wing. Stockley scored with a terrific volley from cracking team play. Big Inniss found an opening at the back post. And Chuks bullied his way through their back line to put the final nail in their coffin. A shame not to keep the clean sheet, but they were a spent force by then and couldn’t muster much more.
We matched them in the first half, even as they looked a little more composed and confident. In fact, they had a gilt-edge chance to go ahead, which they failed to make count. But in the second, we closed them down and harassed them in such a way as to shake that confidence.
Three points and we live to fight again.
Over to you.

Charlton Athletic Football Club, the masters of false hope.
A good result but our recent dropped points have beaten us.
Shame but that's how it is
A home win ... who'd have thought that possible?
Played pretty well first half but toothless in attack. Second half, a huge improvement.
Key differences:
- Playing two strikers instead of Stockley having to do it all on his own.
- Maatsen playing left back rather than totally out of his depth on the right wing.
- Albie Morgan bringing much needed energy, mobility and passing range to the team.
Learn those lessons, go for the jugular against Hull and hope that Portsmouth or Oxford slip up on the final day. Against all the odds we’re still in with a shout.
A draw could be enough with a combination of more unrealistic results.
Idiot.
Jayden speaks well and as if he is one of ours. I'm surprised how much flak he has received from our fans of late. Look at him in the box with a forward partner.
"Belief is his body"
"More confidence in himself"
Those were his words on Aneke, just so we all now know. Probably likely why he gets red mist in frustration too.
You just need both wide men and someone like Gilbey to play a lot closer to him
