MacAnthony is a decent chairman but loves the spotlight. That was clear with the nonsense he engaged in with Southall. I don’t know of many chairman who reply to other teams’ fans. I would just ignore anything he says if you’re looking for info/rumours7

In terms of where the Pope money might go. Wasn’t there a whole thing that the rat still got money from when a player standard liege sold to Porto and then went to city and had like a 30% sell on clause and he got all the money even though he sold the club 2 years before. Really wouldn’t be surprised that’s the same with our players like Pope and Gomez.0

Starting to get worried now 3 weeks to go is not long and we need quite a few players off very good calibre. I personally think thomas has realised this isn't going to be as easy as he thinks. It's going to take quite a bit of money to get a decent team out there to compete and I just can't see him spending it. Even losing the better players to wages we can't be doing that !!!7
