World War 1 tanks were first designed and built in Lincoln.

One of the old factory buildings still exists, or at least one end of it I think. It is down the hill, a little out of town (too far to walk)

Probably only the 3rd time in about ten years that I have booked train and match ticket and not been able to go to the game, due to a last minute complication. 

Wasn’t planning to go on Tuesday so will have to settle for Accrington at home instead.
