Just had a look online and the ticketing website is currently showing 1 standard ticket available for anyone that’s quick and wants to avoid the rush tomorrow.
Surprised we were allowed to cancel it based on COVID cases AND injuries within the squad - Would have presumed that the latter would have been tough shit.
Genuinely surprised we can't patch a team together given the size of our squad there must have been a proper outbreak of covid at the training ground as I thought injuries were getting better.
Well my 11 year old immediately said “well at least Charlton can’t spoil our Christmas now” so I’m clearly bringing him up with the right way of thinking!
Hold on, Ronnie Moore said the 3 lads who missed the Plymouth game with Covid were back in training yesterday. Was it a game of 3 and in, or headers and volleys?
If 3 players went down with it on Friday, chances are that there would have been someone else with the virus travelling down to Plymouth that day, spreading it amongst the squad

The Plymouth midfield can't be deemed as close contacts!

Lets face it, several of our players looked knackered and out of sorts in the second half. Having early stages of the virus is a plausible explanation...

Don’t the rules say you have to have 14 fit players from your announced squad list? If so and we have five or six injuries and same number with Covid I can easily see how it was postponed.

A very wise head on young shoulders. Charlton Athletic, spoiling Christmas and New Year since 1912.

Edit: Gone already
If people can’t go they’ll be holding on to them to wait and see when the rearranged date is.
If you’re reading this lovely, I’m only joking 😲
