I actually am not bothered if they all leave - not one jumps out at me and thinks should be in the first team next year. A few can be squad players if they want like Stockley , Washington and Pearce
Cheers Kip for seeing what I have noticed. Not interested about Clare's time at Oxford only what I see at Charlton.
Simon Francis had a torrid time at Charlton but about two people including me realised he would be better used as an attacking full back as he was poor when defending but had pace to kill when charging down the wing.
Similar to Francis, Clare not at his best when facing his own goal. Ironically Howe coached Francis to be a centre back later in his career which did surprise me.
Clare and CBT could definitely work as wing backs where both Purrington and Matthew struggle to get up and down as they are one paced.
Personally I would like to adapt the system so Blackett-Taylor doesn't waste energy running back to his own area and does all his good work in the opposition's half where his two good feet and pace are hard to defend against especially by League 1 defenders.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Sean Clare in the same sentence by Robinson !
