Give it a rest.I did suspect that Mrs TS‘s comment denying that Garner had been signed on a two year contract was more about the length of the contract than the fact that he’d been signed. Firstly I am happy with the appointment and am excited to see what Garner brings. Think some fans won’t like it, and there’s going to be times when we lose it at the back and possibly concede from it. But if he can replicate the stats he did with Swindon, it will at least make me enjoy watching Charlton a bit more.
Secondly, just makes the ‘still interviewing’ and ‘understand that to be incorrect’ denials look even more silly now.3 -
