    Good luck Ben.
  • Welcome Garner. Hopefully, our business will pick up on the playing side and we can look to get out of this division.

    Up the Addicks.
  • Is this the same Ben Garner that Mrs S said it wasn't true and that Mr S said that he was still interviewing for the role??
Seems that old Tommy boy has had the script written out for Ben and what to say.

Someone did mention it was potentially incorrect because its 3 years instead of 2 haha
Yes, perhaps that's what Dr Raelynn meant!!!

So what we did know, that some said we didn't know proved, the in the know people were right and Raelynn Maloney is a tease and Thomas Sandgaard is a showman.

So nothing we didn't already know.

Welcome to Cafc  Ben Garner because you will need luck in spades what ever formation you think will be successful.

Never think it's a good idea to diss a local journalist unless he is completely wrong; Richard Crawley was correct.

We need good relationships on and off the pitch and that was slightly weird and unique.

    We move on.

    Welcome, Bengt-Arne.

I found this about him on Wikipedia.  Presumably it's the right guy?

Bengt-Arne "B-A" Strömberg, born 13 February 1954 in GothenburgSweden, was a Swedish former football player and coach of IFK NorrköpingIF Elfsborg and Floda IBK. He was the only FIFA licensed coach in Sweden. After 25 years as football coach, Strömberg changed profession and became a lorry driver.

Think they need to explain why it was publicly denied. Cawley deserves some respect.

Based on his stats at Swindon (most shots, most possession etc), yet finishing in 6th place, I think we have the new Andy Nelson.

Sandgaard needs to re-issue 'Addicks to Victory'.  The clean-sheet win is a thing of the past.

'The 3-2 win' scans well enough, I suppose.

Good decision made with Ben Garner.

Gives the attacking football that most of us would prefer to see from us in League One.

We want to watch skillful players playing football the right way, rather than lumping it to Stockley and looking like individuals on the pitch.

Well I assume that since Cawley was saying a 2 year deal, the details weren't finalised yet as it ended up being a 3 year deal. But I do agree, it was pointless having any response to it. Anyway, lets try to move forward...

If Garner is announced soon, be that at a  press conference complete with dancing girls and the like, or not, I'd like to hear more about those 'other shareholders' Thomas said were coming over with him.

Perhaps they were the 'suits' seen in the Chairman's office yesterday and are bringing in sufficient extra funding to salvage 'HMS P*ss' the League' from the murky depths.

We can but hope and we all know what that does to you.
They are Martin & Raelynn & as shareholders will be taking more of an interest in the club. Expect a press conference where Martin will be unveiled as head of recruitment & training sessions while Raelynn has taken the roll of Director of PR & Communications.

After the first game of last Season with the 0-0 against Sheffield Wednesday, when we had no efforts on goal, Nigel Adkins said I'm aiming for 25 Clean sheets.

Different ambitions for Ben Garner, I just hope his honeymoon last longer than the pre season games and half a dozen League games. It would help if most if not all the new players are in situ well before the season kicks off. Also not selling our assets(not many but everyone should be aware who they are)
