Mansfield vs Port Vale in the Final then, gonna be a little bit of a derby almost
Would prefer to see Mansfield win it0 -
Parry is not happy about the pitch invasion.1

Wouldn't say surprised, just massively peed off with himself.mendonca said:Davison misses and once again looks surprised.0 -
Some banning orders in the making here probably.1
-
Some nasty scenes again at the end with the Swindon players being attacked at the end. Difficult to stop but the stewards need to do a better job than at present.1

Difficult to stop when it’s at a final whistle, but penalty shoot out they could have stewards and/or police on the pitch ready to help get players/officials off the pitchphilcafc said:Some nasty scenes again at the end with the Swindon players being attacked at the end. Agree. Recent pitch invasions just look angry. Quite different to ours v Doncaster a few seasons back.philcafc said:Some nasty scenes again at the end with the Swindon players being attacked at the end. Difficult to stop but the stewards need to do a better job than at present.1 -

Wasnt violent, but if there is going to be a pitch invasion, I dont know why the opposition cant be ignored.1 -
Not that hard.
Identify and ban all those on the pitch.0 -
I actually can’t fathom grown adults running on a pitch and attacking footballers in their numbers, it’s cowardly and embarrassing. Animals, I just hope these thugs involved don’t have kids, what a figure to be brought up by
for the record I actually like pitch invasions if it’s just to celebrate the win with the players, if you interact with opposing players with any sort of negativity you’re just a massive bell end4 -
Emotions are running high, but anyone attacking players needs a ban IMO4
-
I like a pitch invasion to celebrate but attacking oppo players is just out of order. Both times this week have been from penalty shootouts. There should be enough police and stewards to be able to control that situation and get the players safely down the tunnel. If the police and EFL took a hard line they could issue banning orders to all they could trace who went on the pitch, that would be a lot of fans missing their first game at Wembley0
-
I’ll share these though, I was just twinkle in my late father’s eye back then and he couldn’t get a ticket v Burnley for love nor money despite having supported us since 1933. He managed to get one the year before though to see the defeat v Derby. That’s why the win over Sunderland at Wembley in 1998 was particularly special for him as an octogenarian to see his team in the flesh, finally win at Wembley 😉.ElfsborgAddick said:

Huddersfield have won the top flight more time than Westham and Forest put together.......Callumcafc said:
Whether it left an edge or not, that’s brilliant. A bit of English football history. Only goes to prove the point that Forest v West Ham is a far more interesting fixture than Huddersfield v West Ham.oohaahmortimer said:

Agree. Would be a great club to have back in there. Is there a story behind Forest and West Ham or just that they're two old clubs?Callumcafc said:If I wasn’t already on the ‘get Forest back in the Premier League’ bandwagon, that kind of incident would have me wanting Huddersfield to win.
As it is, I think it’s clear which team would contribute more to next season in the Premier League. No excitement at all for Huddersfield vs anyone. Lump them in the same bucket as Palace, Bournemouth etc.
Forest on the other hand… some classic games against Man U, Liverpool, Leeds. Even a fixture like Forest v West Ham feels like an important game.
West Ham had someone sent off early on and got ‘hammered’ 4-0 , think West Ham were second tierWest Ham fans sang ‘billy bonds claret & blue army’ for what seemed like the whole of the second half
don’t know if this game left an edge to that fixture6 -
