He can have a week off now - there’s no point playing him against Chelsea .  I wouldn’t risk Jones either , although without Burke , that could make it 0-10

The vitriol aimed at him after the game by some village Charlton fan was up there with some of the highest calibre of Terry fuckwittery I’ve ever seen , bloke was raging about him and when it was pointed out he’d won so many headers and one that led to the goal he yelled ‘so what 6ft 6 man wins a header big shock’
clearly everyone going up there is in need of a head test but fcuk me this fruit took it to new levels

This is senseless from our own fans. I got a mouthful back for challenging the bloke in front of me at St Andrew’s - not only for vitriol aimed at Miles but also Carl and even Tracey. I find it very hard to explain.

I’ve said it before but with Leaburn and TC there is an agenda from some fans, however well they play they are still criticised, any time they make a mistake it’s called out in the crowd. How anyone could watch that Leaburn performance and do anything other than applaud him just shows how blinkered some people are by their dislike of him
  • Think there is an element of racism with some of the criticism.

There is definitely a lack of football knowledge. In terms of football, anybody criticising Leaburn yesterday is a thick as two short ones. No it is not subjective, it is bleedingly obvious like 2 plus 2 is 4. All that is needed is eyes in your head FFS! He will get MOTM for us as fortunately most fans aren't as thick!

Would expect him to be desperate to play vs Chelsea, having come through their academy before signing for ours!

If he can stay fit I can see him continuing to improve and ending the season as first choice alongside Kelman, ahead of any target man we bring in.

By then more will see what he's offering, but with his height some are always going to have unrealistic expectations that he should win every header.

I dont think it’s a racist thing, I think it’s because ML and TC both have body language that comes across a bit moody / cool - I think that’s because they are both shy characters but the more insecure and dare I say it, mentally challenged supporters take it personally as though they are being looked down on / snubbed - that’s life

I have never seen either of them looking moody/poor body language.  I read about it in here, but have simply never seen it.  Always considered it to be one of those CL."group think" things.

I’ve seen Leaburn playing 5aside with his mates at Eltham goals.. he mopes about on the pitch down there and they bitch at each other… he’s not long past being a teenager, and teenagers are famously moody buggers… I don’t think he’s got an attitude problem and fuck he’s been giving it 110% lately - and giving it for the team

I find it laughable that any player that isn't constant fist pumps and bleeding passion from his pores is deemed to have a bad attitude.

It's very clear Leaburn and TC care, they just show it in other ways. Not every player has to be blood and thunder type. Both of them absolutely busting a gut to get back and cover each wing late on in games after 4 games in not many days shows their passion and commitment.

I like that Miles is improving, but don’t want big target man to be his legacy,he has the ability to be more than that.would be nice to see him put the ball in the net a bit more, it was encouraging he got to the header that hit the bar in terms of getting closer to the goal as have found him doing a lot of his work away from goal.

He's definitely getting sharper after such a poor run with injuries.

IF he can stay fit, I'd expect him to have at least a reasonable second half to the season.

Unfortunately, with fans, it seems he's going down the exact same route as his old man.

Hopefully Apter comes into the team when we sort a LWB - crying out for someone to put decent balls into the box for him. The cross from bree on Sunday was the one and only time I remember us putting in a quality ball for him from open play this season.

Ironically I remember one other away at QPR where he also crashed attempt (half volley) against the bar

Be interesting to see what happens with Leaburn once we get a LWB in, whether we revert back to TC and Kelman up top in the hybrid 352/4231 or if Leaburn keeps his place in a more traditional 352 and TC plays as a last 20 alternative to throw at wingback if we need a goal or Kelman if we want fresh legs

He has actually been quite good holding the ball up this year which hasn’t been his strongest attribute in previous years.  However if you don’t score or even look a threat to score occasionally as a forward,  you probably are limiting your chance of starting long term.  I think he has improved and has a lot of potential but I still think we need to upgrade in the January window unless too cost prohibitive

    I didn't realise @MillwallFan attended our games.
