Delighted he scored. The best player in red by a mile today. Hopefully that goal is the first of a run
  • He's deserved that goal for weeks, and his performance today was no different to what it has been either

Brilliant tonight. I’ve been pretty critical of Leaburn at times this season - that’s his best performance so far. Worked hard, caused them problems and a well deserved goal. Nice partnership forming with Kelman. Would be nice to see Carey giving them some more support from midfield.

He didn’t look out of place against Tosin and Badiashile who have 150 Premier League appearances between them.

They couldn’t handle him at times. He was shattered at the end.

A further signal of his potential if he keeps working hard and can pull it all together consistently. 6’6” strikers with good feet and decent mobility do not grow on trees and no defender would choose to have to mark one.

Maybe some of the doubters will have finally seen the potential he has.

If he keeps on playing like that for the rest of the season , he'll be off in the summer for serious money.

I know Chelsea fans like to clown on Badashille and Tosin for being awful but Miles properly caused them problems.

No they don't, but they can pick fruit out of them without using a ladder.
  • Genuinely a horrible player to defend against. Great performance yet again tonight.

He has potential to play in the prem. I wasn’t sure before tonight but I think he is getting better and stronger by the game.

I was sitting next to Chelsea’s directors in the directors box and they were all impressed by him

An excellent performance tonight really put himself about. If he keeps this up he’ll be back on the radar of Premier League teams. It also shouldn’t go unnoticed how he’s reinvented himself from being a wide player with us initially to now playing through the middle.

I’ve been critical of his workrate this season but he was immense tonight, Kelman was a piece of piss for them to manage but always felt Miles could make something happen tonight

It was always clear he was a proper player. Delighted for him, that goal and performance should give him a huge confidence boost and I hope he really kicks on now and goes on a proper run.  He is going to be some player.  Still so young and growing into that huge frame of his.

To think there were morons on here saying he was only in the team because of nepotism and that Ahadme was better.  Lmao.

Since the Birmingham game I think he’s been playing out of his skin lately, if he had better service around him he would shine much more - not easy being a striker for us when you hardly get a sniff

Can we get Kanu back and see if Walsall will take him off our hands instead?

Arguably been our best player over the last 6-7 games

I thought he played really well today. Again.

But, alas, I don't think whatever he does will be enough for some. No idea why. But that's just how it is.

Won the most aerial duels again tonight and the most combined duels too, he's putting himself about so much

Played very well tonight, his mobility is getting better, more like how he played in his breakthrough 22/23 season, when he often played as wide attacker, rather than the number 9.

Seemed to have recovered a bit of his pace too.

He was superb yesterday and it's starting to come together for him now. I just imagine what he'd be like with better attacking players playing closer to him.

Really turning it on it seems of late, didn't see last nights match, as no Sky, but by all accounts MOTM...
IF we can keep hold of him January, we will see the best of him in the remainder of the season, sure he wants to stay with us...

Eating humble pie... Thought he had lost it since the injuries, but has been our best player last 4/5 games. Him and Kelman could turn into a great partnership for years to come, we need someone who can pick a pass playing a bit closer to them though

Getting better game by game at the moment, which is good because half a dozen games ago he looked completely lost out there.

Hopefully him and Kelman continue to build a relationship, and we get some more bodies in that can play them in more often.

A target man striker to compete with him at the very least is still a big priority for me though

He’s certainly made me eat humble pie in the last few games, but I’d like to see a sustained run of form and some goals before declaring him a future balon dor winner.
